It's already catching up with me how much detail I shouldn't be doing. 😮‍💨

Got my backerkit for the Volume 2 iwtv fanzine from @tdvzine.bsky.social !! Lovely work; i'm so enthused about how many goodies everyone contributed. Beautiful quality!!

A photo of backerkit goodies from the iwtv fanzine: the fanzine book, bookmarks, stickers, prints, and a postcard.

Some tolerable watercolors i've done. Those water filled paint brushes are great for blending while keeping a sharp initial edge.

A watercolor painting of two koi in a pond with water lilies. Dice that prompted the art read "calm," "fish," "green," "blurred," and "landscape" respectively. A watercolor palette is in the background.

A watercolor painting of a primate the artist forgot the name of. Maybe a marmoset?? It is looking at the viewer from over its shoulder and is set on a red background.

A stylized american opossum with its mouth open, set on a light orangey-red background

Did another comic for the intro blurb from CVLT of the Knotted Snake, an adventure in Christian Eichhorn's Purgatory production for #mörkborg. I tweaked some of the quote but this is all from Apostle June III bless her slithery lil soul.

And a destination visual, though they have to get there first. #mörkborg #ttrpgs #art #rotblacksludge

A cliff by the vast ocean is hit by sea spray and backlit by a bright sky. The illustration is shades of black, yellow, and white with the words "it is believed Aldon is imprisoned in an infamous underground location"

A pushed in view of the same cliff by the ocean, now without sea spray but still backlit, reveals a cliffside carved set of stairs and precarious entrance into the cliff itself. The illustration is shades of black, yellow, and white with the words "a place no free creature would willingly go."

Now visuals have pushed in on the cliff so far that only the landing to the cavernous entrance is visible with the backlit glow to the left and stairs to the right. The rocks and brick lining the simple entrance are shades of yellow on black, and text reads "a place called the Accursed Den."

I'm so incredibly sane and being productive like this is so incredibly healthy for me.

WIP of another rando generated character. God i wanna make myself do lines and not cave on grays and more color accents sobs. The screen printy dots aren't cutting it.

Wip of a black and white mörg bork character art (some grey and green accents) over a character sheet that has been tinted over in yellow. Woman with long messy hair wears a black bearskin and points back with a warhammer over her wooden handcart. The bearskin has a bear skull on her left shoulder, the one with the pointing arm. She has green boots, a spotted pair of green and white breeches, and a green open vest with no shirt. Her sclera are black as is the belt at her waist holding a single pouch. A small black dog barks aggressively beside her.

Made a character for #mörkborg before knowing if/how i'm even gonna play. The tables called to me. I'd love to get more on model with the art style. #art #ocs #characterart

Bellum Barkbiter is in splint mail and black tunic with a yellow helm design on it holds a blood zweihänder aloft. He looks down, tusked mouth bloody and leaking down his chainmail coif. One ragged, pointed ear is pierced, stretched, and weighed down by a yellow horse shoe. He has stringy black hair to his shoulders. Behind him is his character sheet.

And one for me of an NPC just to match.

A small kobold is designed like Spike from Gremlins. He has an orange body with lime green eyes whose pupils are drifting apart, and his clawed hands are up mischievously. His mouth is open wide with pointy teeth and drool, and his face has small spikes on the chin, cheeks, and lower lash area. Thick brows are striped, as are his large ears. He has a white mohawk and scales on his shoulders.

Dried fake blood is sooooo annoyinggggg to drawwww.

A young dwarf woman is covered in blood, mimicking Carrie. She has wide green eyes, freckles, and soaked but curly hair with two buns and braids alongside loose curls. She is wearing a blue cloth scarf and silver chestplate, also covered in blood.

A changeling has taken the form of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. They have one large, watery brown eye full of tears, and are holding their arms up in worry or dismay. They have gills around their neck, fins along their shoulders and arms, and are light mint green in color.

I immediately forgot to put the rest; i'm so tired. 😮‍💨

A younger albino man is covered in pale, shaggy fur mimicking the Wolfman. He has wide blue eyes and pinkish feathery eyelashes, a grimace with bared fanged teeth, and spiky hair cut short on the sides. His large, pointy, feathery ears have ragged scarring on his left one, and he is wearing cultist robes.

A firblog person in orange gambison with matching braided headband is wrapped in bandaging to mimic the Invisible Man. They're hiding empty invisible eye sockets with dark sunglasses, and their pointed ears and hair are also bandaged. They are wearing a backpack in grey-green and a lavender undershirt.

Gonna drop the halloween portraits I did of my dnd players' characters so i can exist between critical role episodes.

An older purple tiefling woman with blue horns is smiling wide eyed at the viewer. Her hair is brushed up to mimic the bride of frankensteins, with light streaks on either side. She has blue pearl earrings and a ruffled collar.

A young halfling woman with lightly tan skin, wide green eyes, and dirty blonde curly hair has said hair slicked back to mimic Dracula. She has bucked tooth fangs like Nosferatu and is grinning at the camera. She has gold hoop earrings, and is wearing a red dress shirt, red bowtie, and purple cape.

#Faceplapril day 2: Double trouble! Faceplate shows his displeasure by rotating his entire jaw into a frown shape. #kingsgatecomic

A greyscale marker drawing of two people staring at a fish tank. Faceplate, a person with a transparent head that only shows eyes and denture-like teeth and gums, is wearing a hoodie with the hood up. Tara, a woman with dark circles under her eyes and messy shoulder-length hair, asks, “You know them?”. The tank in front of them both contains four glass tetras, who are partially transparent except for yellow heads. “Day 2” is in block yellow around the two people’s heads, and “Double Trouble” is underneath the tank. There is an arrow pointing to the fish labeling them as glass tetras.

Made some pizza dough for the first time, and it’s so very flat but it was so very good.

Uncooked home made pizzas in 1/8th sheet pans. The closest to the camera has tomato sauce, broccoli, basil, garlic, and vegan cheese. The farthest has tomato sauce, basil, cherry tomatoes, spinach, bell peppers, vegan cheese, and vegan pepperoni.

Previous sheet pan pizzas are cooked and resemble flatbread pizzas. The closest, broccoli pizza, has chili crisp drizzle on it. The farthest, the spinach pizza, has pickled banana peppers on it.

Gesture sketching the boy and his tall big crossbow. A skittery boy.

Four gesture sketches of a human boy leap frogging, aiming a crossbow, reloading a crossbow, and jumping down. The jumping boy has the end of a horse added to make him look like a centaur despite having regular human feet.

Posing and doodling and trying to draw things in preparation for #faceplapril. These are obvs not #kingsgatecomic related but they’re the only other thing on my mind rn ig.

A boy with a bowl cut and burns on the left side of his body is looking worried. He is holding the edges of an orange satchel that hangs across his body and has two brown rats poking out from it. Text beside him reads “oh no…”

Cat person with a mane and Mohawk holding a bowl of red wine up. They are lying back, propped on an elbow, and twisting their hips towards screen languidly. Their mint blouse and dark purple skirt are gauzy and see through, shirt open.

Doing some outfit designs for when, down the line, my new dnd characters get uniform pieces.

Human boy looking worried with hands at chest, and cat person with peace sign near face and hand on hip. Human boy wears oversized dark orange shirt under blue coveralls, orange satchel, and brown oversized shoes; he has an oversized maroon jacket falling off of his shoulders. Cat person wears baggy purple capris and a gauzy open mint colored blouse.

Human boy and cat person. Human boy has changed his maroon coat for a light blue military petticoat that is only slightly oversized. Cat person is wearing previous outfit with a light blue shawl over both shoulders. It reaches mid waist and is layered over itself, clasped together at left shoulder.

Human boy and cat person. Boy is wearing off-white uniform button up, suspenders, and pants with light blue stripes on the side under previous jacket and satchel. Cat person is wearing previous outfit with a light blue shawl clasped at their right hip going over their left shoulder.
