Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is very good (and the 15 hours I've spent with it so far have flown by) but it's easily the most irritating sounding game i've played in years. Just listen to the absolute state of this.

Finished Switch 2 Welcome Tour this morning. I get the complaints, but I really liked it! The minigames were probably the worst bit, but it sang as an interactive guide. It actually reminded me a lot of the Dorling Kindersley interactive PC games from the 90s. Similar vibes!

I had a bad cold this weekend and I ended up blitzing through Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 in two sittings. I *loved* it. It's an inventive match 3 puzzle game that weaves together RPG elements with non-linear storytelling to great effect. Also? It's funny as hell. It absolutely rips.

Wrapped up Indiana Jones And The Great Circle this morning. A perfect game for me, I think? Everything I could have asked for from a modern, blockbuster adventure. I loved every second of it, to the point where I'm committed to finding every last note. What a thing!

I led a workshop yesterday for some third-year HCI students at Newcastle Uni! I spoke about our UX process at Greggs, and bribed them into answering questions with doughnuts. It was fun! My slides had elderly millennial energy that made me feel 100 years old.
