#warframe #warframefanart #art being the king's favorite (and only) friend must have its privileges, that or i imagine my drifter was a menace to anyone in duviri except thrax

comic, panel 1 shows the drifter, as a young teenager, and dominus thrax in duviri, both of them are looking at a kaithe. panel 2 shows the drifter attempting to ride the kaithe and failing, tripping to the ground instead. panel 3 shows the drifter back with thrax, looking dejected.

the drifter and dominus thrax, playing horse race with each other but the steeds are bombastine and lodus. both drifter and thrax are telling their rides to go faster.

naturally the pre-smut part of this has a solid 22 pages and I'm only 1/3rd of the way through it. Nobody's fuckin' until the narrative agrees and sure it was always supposed to be smut but then it became a genuine post js:c sorren character study and now we're here.

Whenever I say "beeps" or "beeps at you" or anything akin i'm only thinking of that first noise and whenever it's "AAUUUUUGHHGHHHHHHHHHH" or akin its the second.

...Final final note because I forgot. The story is so damn good, especially after the midpoint through the quests when they changed creative directors to Rebecca Ford. ohhh my god. Also all events return and nothing is time gated so even if you leave for 4 years it'll all still be there and better.

if you ever decide to try it out... Do add me i'd love to help and totally not be one of those super high level players that has too much shit and is too happy to give it to new players to make their time easier noooo not me :))))

Sevastiel (Silly variant) @sevastiel.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

Final notes; it is grindy. You do have to play, but there's also so much shit to do that if you just do whatever the hell you want, you'll get enough to do whatever you wanted to do next. The systems are poorly explained but the community and wiki is fantastic. Also it can run on phones.

aand there we are. Please keep in mind, this game is completely free and does try to respect your time, the community is absolutely rabid over helping new players and may give you Too much shit, and the devs are the only ones hornier than the players in a /pos way.

An image of the warframe Sevagoth standing inside a railjack. (BIG ass spaceship for space combat)

An image of the warframe sevagoth in the main pilot chair of the railjack, looking out over earth proxima. Freespace, so no enemies, and taken from very far back as the player spawned in a dust clouded reigon. They take my stars from me :(

An image of the warframe Follie pulling a wheelie over one of the other open world areas, Deimos. This is an infested flood-esque landscape dominated by two immense wyrms. Whichever one is awake decides what creatures are out and about.

An image of the warframe Revenant on the Zariman tileset, just to show off my favorite tileset in game. :)
The spaceship is old, now. Broken and twisted as life forces it's way free from ancient confines, souls and void energy in tandem sublimating into angels and spirals of silvery matter.

You remember this place, tenno. You do not want to. But you do.

Okay. Just the open world showcases here, as well as some fashion to show off the sheer range of character designs you get to work with and make. First four. Descriptions in the Alt Text!

An image showing the Khora warframe with a very pretty skin on, (biased) standing next to a cardboard cutout of gordon freeman in a 1999 ~ mall. This area is not immediately accessible and is tied to a timelooped city that alt-you must figure out how to save. Also the motorcycle, dating sim-esque minigame, (its a text based chat in which you get to talk with multiple sidecharacters with the express purpose of getting to know them. Dating is optional, but if you choose to, they will move in with you. Not all characters are datable but they are all written with edible amounts of love. Like, we got actual representation that doesn't call itself out as such, nuanced and flawed character writing, and it even gives our alt-main character a personality.

An image of the drifter, who's purpose and place in the overarching game I will not spoil, standing on the rolling plains of duviri during a fear spiral. Duviri is the rogue/souls like, you progress through stages, do side activities, kill foes, etc, gain 'decrees' to get bonuses, and then face the end of a spiral by freeing the emotion's dragon from madness. There are 5 different 'moods' that rotate. This area is so fuckin' pretty all the time and the voiceacting is god tier.

An image with the warframe Gauss in mecha-like fashion, showing off a shawzin while kneeling on the Plains of Eidolon. The first open world map, takes place on earth and is the introduction for new players to the fishing, mining and animal conservation mechanics, as well as the place you go to kill giant ass raid bosses at night.
Shawzins are the guitar hero esque mechanic, there are many different kinds with their own different sounds, I just like this one because it's pretty and sounds like a choir. You will get multiple shawzins for free, and when combined with a warframe that lets you set music charts, the amount of songs that have been made in this game are absolutely psycho. its great.

An image of the warframe titania flying over the Orb Vallis, a venusian open world centered around a debt internment colony that you work with. Every open world, including duviri, has it's own Big activities, and they all share conservation, fishing, and mining in some way. Though duviri's weird.

Nope, thats all in game. Like. Part of the base game in game. Its nuts and all fits neatly within cannon. Tho Admittedly flappy bird, guitar hero, and the 2 separate fighting games (tekken like and sidescroller shoot em up) are actual literal side games. Horses go in the souls like open world :)

(Not to mention that you can trade most farmable items to other players for the premium currency, which is pay to skip and pay for cosmetics, meaning the only things you cant get from just playing the game are the prime cosmetics.

Sevastiel (Silly variant) @sevastiel.bsky.social · 13/05/2026

It has… most of if not all of those things. we also have flappy bird, skateboard simulator, mechas, space combat, (very brief) rhythm based birth minigames, doll dress up, genuinely likable and decently fleshed out side characters AND main characters, fishing, dating sim-style sht, and LORE

This should be terms and conditions to agree every time you engage with a story.

-someone else's fiction cannot cause physical harm
- if someone else's fiction is causing you emotional or psychological harm, or distress, you can put it down and not read/watch it
- your empirical well-being is not the responsibility of fiction writers
- someone else's fiction is not about your personal trauma
- when reading or watching fiction, you always have The power. You can always stop. You are never reading fiction without your own consent.
- fiction writers are not responsible for other people's mental health.
- the content of a piece of fiction does not reflect on the morality of its author
- just because someone writes about bad things happening, doesn't mean they want those things to happen.
- don't like? Don't read.
