We were able to watch this cutie come out of the ocean off Cape Saunder (Otago peninsula South Island of New Zealand ) in March of 2024 so he’s definitely favorite.

My head will be covered today! Finished knitting my melt the Ice hat in time after I made one for my sister.

A knitted red Norwegian resistance hat that will be worn as a MELT THE ICE protest hat on the anniversary of when Nazi Germany banned them in 1942.

Finished! Thought of all the National Park workers with each piece I connected. Though my tenure was in county and town parks, I know how dedicated these professionals are to their mission. @altnps.bsky.social

Completed 1000 piece puzzle of Smoky the Bear at a park with two bear cubs playing in a small waterfall.

Since COVID jigsaw puzzles have been my decompression tool. I evaluate donated ones for our town library or just check them out on my own. This is my latest and I will think of @altnps.bsky.social with each of the 1000 pieces.

The dawn of a new day and year May it exceed our low expectations. Praying that this country makes it through the darkness that is going to come after January 20th.
