Well played. Excerpt from The Dragon Has Some Complaints

Text from a book page

“There are rumors you even sleep with people while on top of your dragon.”
“What? No!” Rania almost spat out her words. “A dragon is not a sex toy. Not even a bad dragon.”

Haven’t been the Magic Kingdom in a hot second, there’s so much being renovated or sectioned off it’s kind of crazy!

Haunted Mansion covered with tarps that appear to be the haunted mansion

The section of magic kingdom that used to be the lake where the steam boat resided, empty of water and cordoned off by a large barrier

The moat of the castle in magic kingdom, empty of water

Another section of river/stream in the park, empty of water

The quote posted picture of Talaryn the German Shepherd on a red curly cue statue in front of the Clarion in Malmo Sweden, this time in black and white with the sharpness cranked up, squared up to look like a CD album cover, a parental advisory label on it and the words "Notorious D.O.G." acting like an album/artist name

Second church was very pretty as well! And this one had a vertical organ which was fascinating. And a rat scavenger hunt! 🐀

Also we snuck into Nordic Brew Lab not knowing it was a *competition* coffee cafe, and it was the best milk espresso drink I’ve ever had, real notes that were discernible

Being stuck meant I got to explore Malmo a bit better than being just a silly guy for a few days, very pretty churches and experiences. And look at those organs!

Catholic Church head on towards the altar, massive cathedral type hall

Massive organ at the rear of the church on a balcony, the bass notes easily being 2 stories tall

Smaller organ on the front audience left, still on a balcony, more usable

Had a great conference in Korea this week, that I think will result in 2 collaborations/papers. Unfortunately I also volunteered to be a program chair for a small conference and associate program chair for a medium conference. 🫠 Lets do this 😤

Four fursuits in a row, from left to right it’s Orion, Talaryn, Setrahn, and Orion. Orion and Zenith are super dapper in fursuit heads and paws (and tails behind them) and the snazziest floral patterned sports jackets, vests, and dress shirts. Talaryn the German Shepherd and Setrahn are in fullsuits, and have an arm around each other and Orion, Zenith’s paws on Setrahn’s shoulder.

Attempt 1 at recreating the dan dan noodles I had in Japan. This was close, but the meat and veggies weren’t right (I made poor substitutions of leek and lean pork, gotta get the real deal in there). Egg was perfect though 😋
