There there are the two games that I'm not interested in, but should I be?

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

A bunch of games were Japan only, or defunct mobile games. I played Echoes of Mana for a bit but I bounced off quick because that mobile gameplay loop isn't fun for me.

I don't have all of the games that I want just yet, Visions of Mana is still on my wish list.

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

I've been watching a friend play Legend of Mana and so I have that Mana itch that needs to be scratched so I'm going to stream Sword of Mana next! After going through my collection of Mana games I realize that I'm half done streaming all of the Mana games that I have.

I'm excited to do some smaller projects then I finally want to do a deep dive on NES Mega Man.

Feeling powerful tonight, finally got around to giving the office a little TLC after way too long. I've finally wrapped up other responsibilities and can give more focus and time to playing games, streaming, and making videos. 🙂

I've streamed the first two Voice of Cards game and I knew that I needed to pick up the last one. Mission accomplished! I will be streaming this game in the future. I'm feeling like a lot of good RPG's when I start streaming again in the fall.

I missed the GameCube. (I had a PS2) I hope to revisit some of the library on the switch online service someday, with this! Anyone else collecting the NSO controllers, I have them all now. 😁

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 11/07/2025

I streamed my first playthrough of ActRaiser (SNES) a few years back and loved it. This week I picked up the enhanced port!

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 11/07/2025

I finally got to play my friend's painted set of Scythe. It was 🧑‍🍳💋

I took my girls to the local Harry Potter Expedition, I'm a Hufflepuff so I had to get a pic repping my HP house. The other picture is me sitting in Hagrid's chair!

We had movie night at my place, so grab your "stuffies!" (Stuffed Animals) My Snorlax was my father's day gift this year!

I'm so excited for this stream I made a trailer to set the vibe for it. (Sound on!) Join us on May 30th to see if @memorymartin99.bsky.social @artofmana.bsky.social MetTroyed and @chasenscooter.bsky.social can escape The Dungeon!

I took the Switch 2 VS My Backlog idea and made it into a video. It felt good to finally produce a video on my new computer, I want to get back in the habit of making more of these really soon!

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Had a crazy weekend, but the best part was beating Power Rangers with my daughter.

000

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

I got the Wii U and the Switch on day one and it was super fun to experience those with the early adopters but I think that for the Switch 2 I'm going to wait, mostly because: 1 Money is tight right now and 2 My backlog is frightening...

100

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

I'm catching up on the Switch 2 and Mario Kart announcements and I can honestly say that this is the most excited I've been for a new Mario Kart game in 10 years! 😉

000

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

Looks great now! There are a few differences in the past two years. Some of the plushies are different, I have a shelf full of amiibo that I need to open, I've filled the Switch shelf and needed to add an overflow space on the black shelves, and lots and lots of new board games!

000

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

It has been way to long since I dusted the office... two years! 😮 It's hard to see in the pictures but this duster is gross!🥴

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

No joke, this was my FIRST role playing the Heretic in Set A Watch. 😅

000

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

My order for Limited Run games came in! I'm a big Tomba fan but mostly of the second game, this remaster is only the first game. But I couldn't miss adding a Tomba plushy and hat to my collection!

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

I've been watching Batman Beyond, here is a picture of me and my baby watching the episode of high school Batman watch his "baby" for a homework assignment. 😉

Coming out of the pandemic I reconnected with some friends and learned that they enjoy board games. And I got hooked as well. This is my board game collection since then.

110

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

The Switch is the console where I seem to have money but no time. I've purchased more games for the Switch, played the most games for the Switch but the Switch also has my biggest backlog, and there are a lot more digital games on my backlog on the Switch.

110

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

The 3DS was the console that got me back into handheld gaming. I got Pokemon Y after being away from the series for so long, and again mostly stuck to purchases for games that were apart of series that I enjoy. I would love to play more DS and 3DS originals.

100

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

The DS was a console that I missed, so a lot of the games that I got were games that were a part of series that I wanted to play, Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Pokemon, MegaMan, etc.

110

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

I remember having the Wii U on launch day and being so excited to play it. I played through most of my games, with mostly some of the later released games I still need to visit.

200

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Some of these Wii games I purchased when I was working at GameStop, but I got Zack and Wiki from recommendations from some IGN podcasts that I listen to. Perhaps I get to that this year?

200

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Most of my PS2 backlog are games that I've gone back to purchase to be part of my Mega Man collection, man I really need to play those games...

100

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

I've played and even beat most of my Playstation games. I ended up purchasing Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories a little while ago, but I haven't played it yet. Perhaps this year?

120

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

SNES games I've been doing great. The All Stars collection, is on the backlog because I still haven't played Super Mario Bros. 2. I'm looking forward to Chrono Trigger the most!

110

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Right off the bat, I've cleared the backlog for my NES games! I have some digital NES games on modern systems like the Switch/3DS but we are not counting those today. 😄

100

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

I'm sure that I added more games to my collection that I played in 2024, so I took stock of my *physical* collection. Here is my backlog. (All of it) I'm going to break it down by system in this 🧵

120

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Finally got to play Rita's Rewind today! I played it with my four daughters. I'm happy to report that it's a great game to play with a group, and with kids! We made it all the way to Eye Guy before the baby woke up.

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Do you like FINDING things? Wizards and Warriors is like a metroidvania but on a smaller scale. But that smaller scale changes the game from a game about EXPLORING to a game about FINDING, keys, items, gems, and weapons. If you enjoy retro games that rewards their players often then check it out.

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

I really enjoy the new Ducktales series! But whoever did the captions needs a raise!

000

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

I'm super excited for the new Power Rangers game. My rangers are at attention ready for action!

000

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

I've been having a lot of fun with Set A Watch, so much fun that I got this upgrade. I didn't realize that it was this big... 😃

000

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

My experience with Trials of Mana so far. 🧵

100

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

But by far the most popular game was the most accessible one, this is why board games are easier to pull out with non-gaming family around. We had people playing Railroad Ink alone, or with a group, it takes one game to understand how it works but we were all hooked afterward.

010

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

My favorite party game is now My Favorite Things, but it really depends on who is around the game with you. In this game everyone makes a top five list and then you play a guessing game where you try to guess everyone else's top five list. Every part of this game was fun!

100

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

If you enjoy planning ahead, cornering your opponent, and thinking through a changing spatial puzzle then The String Railway is the game for you. It takes a lot of table space but ended up being a great game to play with kids and adults alike!

100

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

I hope everyone had a good holiday with lots of good company and games. Lots of board games made it to the table at my place, but there were definitely three favorites. (I pushed a few of my recent pickups) 🧵

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

The NES 2 was a cool idea, the top loader ended up being a really nice addition improving how carts are loaded and run. But the controller redesign ended up being a mistake imo. The buttons are slanted in the wrong direction making it harder to hit both buttons with the thumb.

010

Seth Haskell @sethhaskelllive.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Here is the latest pic of my NES collection. I don't have all of my favorite games on NES cart, but more and more are rereleased for modern consoles. I'm still waiting on Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, M.C. Kids, Spy vs Spy (MAD), Wizards and Warriors, and Legacy of the Wizard.
