Seems pointless, since he just pardons them anyway. The current law gave this guy a 35 year sentence. Then there’s Rick Scott…Invoked the 5th 75 times… www.miamiherald.com/news/local/c...

The cost to ship through the strait went from 5$ -> 30$, regardless of how much oil is getting through. Bye bye 50$ per barrel.

Yeah, i was checking out the roland cloud plugins for logic pro as well as plugins for vcv rack. I would rather throw money at euro rack modules, but it would be kind of cool to own a real tb-303! :)

She’s DJing there. Some old school tracks, some new. Some tracks are her remixes or creations. I think slash is her record label. I remember parties of a similar nature in the early 90s, so some nostalgia for me. :) Track list is out on reddit.

The average net worth of US senators is 14m$. The median net worth is 4.4m$. Probably some outliers on either side. Governed by the rich, for the rich. Why did we let big money into politics?

There’s a friend of my family that had polio as a child. She’s had a really bad limp for her entire life. Even if you don’t die, you can be severely maimed. Is this what we want for children?

Don’t put off doing the things that you love until retirement. Sometimes circumstances will be that you’re not able to if/when you retire.

You can get films to install over your license plates to obscure camera (reflective to ir, or polarization, etc.). Not sure if the legality has been tested in court yet.
