According to Wikipedia, there were several US occupations of foreign countries that spanned those years, and about 2 wars that the US was directly involved with. The US was on the losing side of each of those wars, funnily enough.

I'm aware. I'd be lying if I said I haven't found them funny from time to time, or if I said that they don't routinely make a point better than I could. I recently watched an episode about ICE, and they did great. But they're still jerks who helped make the case for Trump even as they mocked him.

Same congress that can't, apparently, delegate rulemaking powers to federal agencies, right? It doesn't look like your article has been updated to reflect that Trump's economic justifications fell apart, when he slapped tariffs on Brazil for prosecuting a former executive of their government.

It's in the plain text of the constitution that the president doesn't set tariffs, congress does. Our super majority "originalist" supreme Court though seems to care less and less about what the constitution says, and even about things like legal precedent, or the law.

From what I've seen a lot of the stuff they know should not be in a budget bill is super vague, in an apparent attempt to evade the parliamentarian. This is a terrible way to write laws! Really nail them on the chaos they're creating. Do they want NASA to randomly pick a new home for Discovery?

It's possible for the pilots to have done every single part of their jobs perfectly, and for the people above them to have fumbled everything else about this, such as ripping up an acceptable nuclear deal 8 years ago, miscalculating how deep the bombs could reach, and bombing these sites at all.

Every time I read about a high profile crime these days, and there's even a hint that the suspect was a Republican, a Christian, or a billionaire, I find myself hoping they are brought up on mostly state charges so that Trump can't just continue to pardon the plainly guilty.
