![John Turturrp on working with Tatiana Maslany in Noah Segan's crime thriller 'The Only Living Pickpocket in New York'
I had relationships with both [Steve Buscemi and Giancarlo Esposito] already. Tatiana, I didn't, but I did meet her and we talked about doing something. I really love her work, and I have to throw a special shout-out to her because what she did in less than a day's work... You know, I don't get surprised that easily, and I was just like, wow. She brought a whole life in on scene.

Bottom images: Screenshots of Tatiana Maslany's Instagram stories from February 28 2026, in which she calls out Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney for co-signing the US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which killed at least 60 children in an Iranian school in the town of Minab:
“Shame on you [Mark Carney] and your spineless subservience to fascists & your support of the US and Israel's illegal attacks on Iran 🇨🇦 WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!”
“Here's Carney's statement co-signing the murder of at least 60 children today. Not surprising since he cosigned on Israel's slaughter of children in Gaza for the past two years”
“When I say [Mark Carney] co-signed Israel's slaughter of children in Gaza I should've said he actively funded and armed Israel in their slaughter of children in Gaza”](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:t6yrupcq2epqkxb65cxtzasr/bafkreih2hrntwcubedm6qpwck5lml5uqhu5qyswoenfceij36vojn7dzum)
![Tatiana Maslany, star of Orphan Black and Marvel Studios' She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+, used her Instagram stories to speak out against Disney:
Disney, which owns the US broadcast network that airs Jimmy Kimmel Live, said on Monday that it suspended the show because it "felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive".
"We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday." Disney said.
Tatiana:
@disneyplus acting like they didn't feel the pressure of EVERYONE WHO BOYCOTTED. Acting like it was about conversations. DON'T FORGET WE HAVE POWER. KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THEM. More in the next slide
@bds.movement
@disneyplus is on the BDS list. KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THEM and all these companies complicit in Israel's genocide in Gaza

WE HAVE POWER!!!!! That has been made very clear this past week

For years they've been cracking down on protest in support of Palestine and paved the way for this kind of censorship. Students, teachers, activists, protestors arrested, silenced for peaceful dissent. WE HAVE POWER.
