It’s been genuinely exhausting watching people get dog pilled and shit on for menial shit. I’ve seen this energy focused at the right spaces and people only a handful of times. It’s exhausting seeing it burn other people out of the scene to the point of not come back to get on anymore.

I remember once, my dad dated a lady for a short time and we went over to their house and they had a kid about my age. My last job burnt me out so bad. Everyone was so rude, I was under appreciated by those in charge. Anytime an issue ended up small, it felt like a waste of my time. You don’t realize how truly unhappy you were until you’re out of a toxic place. And how much it changes your perspective on everything.

One thing I’m so incredibly grateful is the new job I got this year brought back my love and passion for IT / helping people. Everyone’s so nice and kind all the time. Even when it’s something dumb, or a user error. I’m just happy to help / that the issue was a quick fix for the person.
