Zoom sent me a "Baby, please don't go email." After 6-ish years of use, the number of meetings hosted looks right, as does the avg. meeting length. But the "hours spent on Zoom" stat suggests I have averaged 13 hrs/day/7 days/week for six years. So...they're lying, or it's *constantly* running.

I had a feeling that book cover graphics were starting to look very similar, so I unstacked my bedside pile.

Three books atop a round table: Cursed Daughters, Death in the Air, A Walk in the Park. Death in the Air and A Walk in the Park both feature san serif fonts and stylized images of outdoor settings. Cursed Daughters is somewhat different, but size, layout, and color saturation are similar to the other two books.

I occasionally shop Etsy, and it bums me out the way the site will suggest I enable alerts for when the thing I am viewing is on sale. The cost of handmade goods hardly ever captures the value of the artists’ time. You can’t commodify creative output*.
