The only book my parents ever banned me from reading was Twilight, but only because other parents & teachers made a big deal about it. Most of the time I read what I wanted. Now TV was different. I wasn’t allowed to watch shows where my parents thought younger characters were rude/mean to people.

I’ve been listening to Dawn’s Early Light, and the cognitive dissonance is nearly unbelievable. While I can agree on what some of the issues are, I fundamentally and wholeheartedly disagree on the causes and solutions. It’s like we’re living in two different realities. Baffling.
