Medieval suburbia, abandoned to time. (also first art drawn on Krita) #art

in the foreground: a medieval looking house, with a medieval stone path and dirt track.

in the background: empty grassy fields with a lone tree, a single for-sale sign knocked over as the rain comes down.

it almost looks like there was meant to be something here, but was never finished.

Minami finds an ajar door deep in the school halls, and her eyes are opened up to a new world. (Minami lore) #art #oc

The comic, titled Door To A New World, shows how Minami came to join the art club.
Minami in the first panel, is wearing her glasses (unusual given she's in the classroom grounds), and notices an ajar door with an orange glow. On the door, a notice is taped on it saying "art club! join us!"
She reacts by exclaiming: "Oh, what's this? Art club?"
In the 2nd panel, she's opened the door and steps inside, to see something so amazing to her, that she can only say "Woahhh..."
The art club room, and its members is reflected into her irises .

Never space out while walking down the canal, Minami might run off with your giraffe hairclip. (This was also a study in backgrounds) #art #oc

Shizuku and Minami are by a canal on a bright summer day. On the opposite side, there are a few buildings, with the rightmost one having a name of GIRAFFE CORP.

In the canal, there is a boat named LONGNECK, with registration G-RFFE.

Shizuku, wearing a blue shirt, red skirt with her signature pink cardigan tied round her waist, navy tights and peach Mary Janes, is chasing Minami.
This is because Minami, who's wearing a purple shirt, denim shorts, and grey hightops, took her giraffe hairclip, put it on her own hair, and is running off with it.

Shizuku, lacking in stamina, is out of breath as she tries to get Minami to return the hairclip, as shown by her gasping out "Give me... ack my.. HAir... clip..."
On the flipside, Minami, being much fitter, has turned her head, and with the biggest grin on her mouth, tells a clearly exhausted Shizuku, "Come and get it then~"

Roll back the sands of time to just 5 years ago, and the situation was quite different... #art #oc

Shizuku and Minami are standing in front of the same giraffe-themed height measurement chart as the first, also measuring their height, just that this is when they're 5 years younger than in the first one.
On the right side, there is a piece of paper that says "Please take off your shoes before measuring!"

Shizuku (wearing a slip dress with her signature pink cardigan on top, and blue Mary Janes she took off to measure her height) is looking up, with her left hand on her head, very happy that she's grown to 140cm. She expresses this by saying "I grew by 3cm!
I’m gonna be a big giraffe soon!"

However, on the other side, the feelings are much more different, with Minami, (wearing twin tails, a green shirt, and brown overalls with white buttons, and red and blue velcro sneakers she took off to measure her height), still remaining at 135 cm tall. This, combined with a lack of self-confidence, means tears are welling up in her eyes, as she sadly utters a "I didn't grow..." in response.

Fortunately for Minami (and unfortunately for Shizuku), it seems the tables will turn around sometime in the future.

For once, she's on the other side of the lens. Happy birthday Minami! #art #oc

In this art, we see Minami through the viewfinder of a phone camera, set to 1x zoom, and the date is May 12 2026, 15:07:46.

Minami is sitting on a stool in front of the class whiteboard, which contains a multitude of messages wishing her happy birthday.
Her hands are on her lap, and she's wearing her cardigan on top of her summer uniform, and a blue and yellow party hat on the left side of her head. Additionally, her eyes are looking away from the camera, and she is embarrassed that she's the one being photographed.

This is reflected in her question, "Are you sure you don’t want me behind the camera?", as it feels more natural for her to be the one taking photos of her classmates on her birthday.

Off-camera, Shizuku gently denies her request, by responding, "Nah, it’s *your* turn this time!"
After all, it is Minami's birthday, she should be the one getting a photo!

A drawing of me commissioned from AnimeBrit: shows a girl with tan skin and black hair wearing glasses, white shirt, light blue cardigan, and a darker blue skirt with a plaid pattern. She has her hands up near her face as if she's just put on her glasses and is showing them off.

Fanart of Shizuku and Kaori from "The Summer You Were There" in a poster style. Text overlays them both, reading, "Why are you awake?" and the response, "I only see you when I close my eyes." Kaori is wiping Shizuku's tear away with her thumb as she smiles down at her.

Drew a friend's OC, Aster! Seems like Aster wants to go for the Easter egg hunt, but Shizuku won't stop yapping about asters... #art #oc #friendoc

My friend's OC, Aster, along with my OC, Shizuku.

The two are in a university campus outside the door to Tutorial Room 43A, about to start an easter egg hunt. To the right of Shizuku, there's a poster that says, "students! join us in hunting for easter eggs on campus!"

Shizuku's easter egg basket has a little giraffe inside, while she's talking about things related to Aster.
Her dialogue: "It’s a really nice name! The flower’s name originates from the Ancient Greek name for star, because the flower head looks like one! Oh, but did you know that in cell biology, the centrosome in mitosis is also called an aster, due to its star-like shape?"

Conversely, Aster is looking at the fourth wall, hoping Shizuku will stop yapping soon so they can go looking for easter eggs soon.

Admittedly, Shizuku is cheating, but I think we should let her have this one alright? #art #oc

Shizuku and Minami are standing in front of a giraffe-themed height measurement chart, measuring their heights.
On the right side, there is a piece of paper that says "Please take off your shoes before measuring!"

Shizuku is looking away, pouting at the fact that she's shorter (as evidenced by the "Shizuku (152cm)" text above her head), even though she's still wearing her sneakers (whose shoelaces are untied).

On the flipside, Minami, who took off her loafers, has turned her head towards Shizuku, and is telling her: "Shizuku, your shoes~", to remind her to take them off, and to rub salt in to her wounds.
(Minami is incidentally taller, as shown by the "Minami (160cm)" text above her head)

A Shizuku and Minami comic! Seems her attempt at trolling resulted in her getting trolled. Merry Christmas! #art #oc #comic #originalcomic

Panel 1: Shizuku spots Minami at a park bench looking at her phone, and says "Oh, Minami's there! I should surprise her..."

Panel 2: Shizuku is sneaking up on Minami with a sly smile, saying "Ehehe, she'll never see this coming...". Minami already has noticed her, and is quite unimpressed.

Panel 3: Shizuku covers Minami's eyes (and glasses) to do peekaboo with her, and exclaims "GUESS WHO!"

Panel 4: Minami responds "A child?" and Shizuku angrily retorts "I'M NOT A CHILD!" while bashing Minami's beret.

Shizuku and Minami lie on the grass, shoes off. Shizuku is frolicking about, with her clothes full of grass, while Minami is happily watching her. On their bags, two giraffe plushies lie, with almost the same pose.
