My YouTube timeline putting both Toms next to eachother and doing the same face is really funny to me like that's one hell of a coincidence

Left: Tom Eddsworld scare face
Right: Thomas Ska Ridgewell scare face

I didn't want to post this but here goes. I have decided to change this to an anti music account. Music has simply become too liberal. Like Rage Against the Machine decided to hate the president, Why would they do that?? I hate music now and if you can't handle that you're alphabet mafia snowflake

5. D.R.I. - "Dealing With It" My favorite D.R.I. album. The perfect middle ground between their thrashcore roots and the metal they'd further incorporate in later albums. Blistering, tight hardcore with metallic riffs and solos. Essential for punks, a premonition of the crossover legends to come

4. Hüsker Dü - "Metal Circus" Wonderful punk EP. Shows the best of their hardcore era but with hints of the melodic direction they'd take later in their career. Influence on melodic hardcore, alternative rock, and punk in general cannot be overstated. Easily among my favorite releases of all time

3. Suicidal Tendencies - "Suicidal Tendencies" Great 80s hardcore debut. Hardcore punk mixed with west coast surf punk, with splashes of heavy metal. Music influenced crossover punk and thrash metal; band members influenced punk and metal fashion. Very very fun album. Obligatory mention of Pepsi...

2. The Jesus and Mary Chain - "Psychocandy" Early British post-punk with beautiful songs and melodies buried under layers of almost overwhelming noise. Huge influence on noise rock, shoegaze, post punk, etc. Songwriting for everyone gatekept by blistering guitar tones for the few.

1. X - "Los Angeles" One of the great debut albums of early American punk rock. X wears their 50's rock roots on their sleeve without losing any edge. All the songs are about living in LA in the late 70s. The album closer "The World's a Mess: It's In My Kiss" convinced me keyboards were kickass.

Hey little freakazoids in my computer! Figured I'd make a pinned post to highlight what to maybe expect here. Expect ramblings about music (especially forms of punk), bad takes on video games, brainrot posting (Cykuro and Heathcliff especially), and occasionally art once in a blue moon. Have fun!
