Also this is my main sona plus a new character I havent formally introduced yet (but will soon) called Apparition… basically past serene. I used to strongly identify as bisexual and genderfluid, but was incredibly afraid of exploring gender things, and still felt like something was missing.

I apologize for the long rant, I’ve been holding this all in for a while now and I think I realized that I need more distance this morning once the vibes died, and just wanted people to know I wasn’t dead when I stop responding to things.

I’m not complaining about anything in particular, by the way. A lot of this is just things I need to work out for myself, which is precisely why I’m giving myself the space to do so. I know I don’t really need to explain myself for wanting to take a break from socials, but I think part of me is still scared of being misunderstood or coming across like “I am ignoring things because I am inconvenienced by important things” when its more of “im tired of wanting to explode every time I’m social in almost any context online so hey maybe lets not”

I have been distancing myself from most socials for a while, i decided its what would be best for my mental because a lot of things on the web contribute to problems i dont know how to cope with yet, things I dont know how to talk about or approach (explanation in screencap, I dont want to drag on)

Im tired of being constantly painstakingly and UNHEALTHILY particular and obsessive about what i say, how i do things, or even just how I post my own goddamn art because Im scared of coming across the wrong way or accidentally being harmful.Things I see on the web contribute to my unhealthy mindset

I am tired of being paranoid about irrational things when I just want to use my goddamn voice, or being unable to trust in resources when I just want to educate myself and learn. Im tired of searching for mistakes in my every social interaction whether it be rereading or ruminating

Another bugbear! This is Flowerglass! She’s a bugbear cub that’s based on the orchid mantis and the spectacled bear. Flowerglass is an overly rambunctious cub that gets very attached to Bugbear when she mysteriously shows up in Flowerglass’ home village. Maybe Bugbear reminds her of someone?

Here is Bari (or Barry, either works!) Bari is a robot inspired by the Mars Perseverance Rover, though she isn’t a personification of it. She doesnt quite have a story yet, but shes a curious machine, and quite the rock collector. There was an emphasis on having lots of storage in her design.

Speaking of, this is Fiametta (or Fia for short!)- Fia is Flannery’s little sister and is not quite as fiery or angry. She’s playful, but also very gentle and tender. Fiametta has the special ability to heal others with her elemental magic which is very rare in their little world.

Ok, next! Bugbear was originally just the Lusus for my Trollsona years ago, but nowadays shes also my mascot to a degree. Shes a generic bugbear (my version of one) not really based on any bug/bear in particular. Shes motherly, but is very relaxed until shes prompted to act. Then she can be scary 😅
