I slept like a baby last night. Really peaceful and for hours and hours. Tired from the chemo but this is positive. Rest day today and time to shave my head. I'll post before/after I think. Thank you for the continued messages of support, it's really does make a difference. 🙏🙏 #cansky

Hello @chazelgrovemp.bsky.social Who manages this account because I see regular posting from it in terms of positive PR but I don't see any engagement with real humans. My responses have been ignored twice so I'm questioning if it's a legitimate communication tool for Claire or just a piece of PR?

Thanks so much for the lovely good wishes that came my way yesterday. It was a very long day with ups & downs. The good news is I was fit to take a full dose of chemo drugs. The less fun part was ending up in the emergency room later on. Got home to bed about 2am so pretty tired! We made it though!

If this is true, it's the end of my Audible subscription. Why the hell would I pay for a non-human to 'perform' art? The conquering hero returns from school with his first exam paper done and he seems reasonably happy. Answered all the questions and didn't stress out so yay! I'm very proud and feeling very grateful to be here for this moment. When I got my dx we didn't think I would be. 🥰🙏 #cansky

Some nice news to cheer me up before the big day tomorrow. The amazing chair we bought for our living room, expected in August, is being delivered next week 😁 This is excellent news as not only is it pretty, it reclines! It'll be me, my book and some light snoring!

My 15 year old really wanted to learn to cook a 'full English'. With my guidance he did that for brunch today and I'm so proud of him for providing a really tasty meal for the 3 of us, the old fashioned way. No air fryer or other gadgets were allowed as he needs practice for camping.

Ep40- I've never seen anything like the Jacqui and Ryan show. That was incredible and the group reaction was fantastic. She is completely bonkers and I'm only disappointed that we didn't see her suddenly switch her emotions at Beth and Teejay's wedding, which was frankly a bit scary. #MAFSAU

Yay! I'm getting a blood transfusion before the weekend! I might actually be able to stand up or... I don't know...stay awake!! This is so great as I feel so awful. There are also things I wanted to get done before starting the new regime and I may actually have a chance to do that now. #cansky

We've got the Gardner in for his first visit since we moved in. It's a noisy process out there but at least we won't look like the hobos on the street now. We have a couple of trees, some well established tall bushes, and a bit of grass out front that now looks a lot tidier!

I wish the people who make movies and TV would realise that just because it's dark, doesn't mean you can't fill with *some* light. Currently watch S6E1 of #thehandmaidstale and can barely see anything during the train night scene. Maybe it's meant to add to the drama but I just find it annoying.

So the nuclear option worked... In the middle of the night I launched myself downstairs like a pancake out of a cannon and went splat on the bottom wall. Fortunately no damage found. I then ate half a packet of Jaffa cakes, failed to find an audiobook so gave up and went back to bed till 14:00!
