I feel the problem is how the show ended up gravitating towards a younger audience (by sheer luck). It got similar vibes to when FNAF exploded. Younger markets create more fervient audiences and feedback loops

The topology might be a bit too regular, Try adding at least some offset loops where there are articulations, so you have more geometry for deformation when you rig.
