Ichiyo-kai is a nationwide artists’ association that was founded in 1955. it has 20 chapters and 420 members.
The associations main event is an art exhibition based on a public call for submissions, held annually at Tokyo's National Art Center in the fall. It features 500 works of art. In addition, an annual exhibition is held at Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts.

Since its foundation, Ichiyo-kai has valued works where artists challenge themselves in expressing their ideas, perceptively capturing signs of the times under the themes of nature and climate, society, life and lifestyle, We expect a wide range of forms of expression and the creation of new values. Whatever the style — be it realistic, representational, symbolic or abstract — we value unique and original expression through two- or three-dimensional paintings, block prints or sculptures.
Our association serves as a place of training for seasoned artists, while accepting many different ideas from both member and non-member artists
We hope that our association will become a dynamic, refreshing and attractive art organization

Last night here. Roppongi is touted by some online sites as the nightlife area, so thought I'd check it out, get some photos. Something just felt off about this area, I didn't like the vibes. Maybe this place needs to be visited in a group. I left after exploring a few streets.

Visited a few used camera shops and they have shelves of non working cameras ("junk") for parts. Hoped to pick up a TLR but those were priced pretty high, even for the junk ones, and all I want is just a decorative item.
