They want to put Zelensky in his place as a subservient vassal of the US. Show the world, that they can give help or take it away at will. The world (apart from some dictators) must bow to Trump. He can't stand that somebody is not corrupt and is motivated by something else than personal gain.

Vastustan, jos ruuhkamaksu menee valtiolle. Ehkä en innostu muussakaan tapauksessa, koska ainakin aikaisemmin esitetyt suunnitelmat ovat olleet varsin tökeröjä - joko karkea vyöhykkeistys tai yksityisyyttä nakertava todellisten kilometrien seuranta.

The US hasn't given arms for a long time. There are only a few thing they can do. 1) refuse to sell to Europe (that donates them forward to Ukraine) and 2) stop intelligence sharing 3) shut down Starlink. Russia has big partners in the war against Ukraine: China, North Korea, Iran and the US.

Ainakin yhden yrityksen ajatus oli, että myydään hetkellistä säätövoimaa (kalliilla) kaasugeneraattoreista, jotka on joka tapauksessa rakennettava datakeskusten varavoimaksi. Kuulosti jonkin verran järkevämmältä kuin rakentaa varavoimaa, joka pidetään lämpimänä, mutta irti valtakunnan verkosta.
