I love my friends :3 Real events of group chat encouragements 🌿🌲🦁 #sketch #pencilsketch #groupchat #sailorsketches

Three figures sketched in pencil.
The one on the left is dressed with many ruffles and embellishments, and is saying "NOT your circus, NOT your monkeys!" With a somewhat smug expression.
The middle figure is Cedar, dressed in an open button down and cuffed pants, with his hair pulled back. He is saying "not your fish, not your aquarium." He is shrugging, and his expression says don't worry about it.
The figure on the right is stance with their arms out to their sides and their feet just past shoulder-width apart. They are wearing boots, shorts, a belt, and a short sleeved button down. Their expression is WILD, as they say "NOT YOUR BRAIN WORM, NOT YOUR WILD GOD CULT!"

WHY must I insist on drawing so small that a fraction of a millimeter changes the entire facial structure and expression? Why do I do this to myself??

What's he smiling at? He cookin something? #Sanji #onepiece #sketch Quick sanji for the soul between assignments 💛💙

A pencil sketch of Sanji in a slightly more realistic style than the cartoons I typically post. He is wearing the iconic blue hoodie and one of Zoro's earrings. He is looking downward, and looks peaceful.

#zosan 2010s EDM au real? Stupid pining idiots? Luffy summoning darude sandstorm canon? ( ty @iatethedevilfruit.bsky.social for playing in this space with me LMAO) #Sanji #Zoro #Luffy #onepiece

A drawing of Sanji and Zoro sitting on a bench, both with headphones on. Sanji is listening to "Clarity", and Zoro is listening to "Better off Alone". They each have the lyrics written above their heads and coloured in with each other's colours, in case it wasnt obvious that they're being ridiculous and pining for each other via nostalgic dance music.
In the background, a teeny tiny Luffy can be seen, and *darude sandstorm approaches* is written above his head

#zosan au but its just the 2010s and Sanji is pining and having a bi crisis while listening to 2013 EDM hit "Clarity" Then it turns out that Zoro has consistently been listening to "Better off Alone", the ONLY lyrics to which are "do you think you're better off alone?" And "talk to me"

I've decided #Usopp has lots of freckles because I can and you're welcome. #onepiece #fanart

A drawing lined in ink and coloured in watercolour of Usopp, looking very smug. He is wearing a marigold-orange tank top, his signature arm band, and his bandana. He has some gold jewelry on, nothing fancy, just to accessorize! His nails are painted the same blue as the stripes on his arm band. He has lots of freckles across his face and shoulders

Request from @tookuni-faraway.bsky.social : a sketch of Tama! My 1st thought was sweet angel darling child, deserves a feast & to never go hungry again. So I drew her with our dear captain & the cook (who probably resonates with that for some reason) #onepiece #Luffy #Sanji #Tama #wano #fanart

A sketck of Luffy and Tama sitting at a table, while Sanji brings in a few plates of food. Everyone is all smiles! The sketch of the table is very loose, but there are implied to be many more plates of food and containers of drink. Luffy's arms stretch to grab at least one of each of the new foods Sanji has brought to the table, and Tama is contentedly enjoying an onigiri.

The thing about metallic #watercolor. Is that if I took a normal picture of this it would not show. So I am posting this picture so that when I post this scene from @tookuni-faraway.bsky.social 's fic, y’all will know it is shiny as HELL

A picture of some WIP fanart taken at a SUPER low angle to show that the accents are painted in a metallic gold

Again. Based on a real text exchange. What am I gonna do with him. #cedarsailor #art #hydrate 💛💙💚

The drawing is lined in ink and coloured with watercolour. It shows Cedar on the left, and Sailor on the right, both of them texting on their phones. Cedar is resting his chin on a pillow, and is under a green blanket. He looks SO tired. He has typed:
"Yeah, I should probably drink water too, I can feel my kidneys-"
His text bubble is overlapped by Sailor's, which is sharply spiked to show Sailor's agitation. Sailor is leaning forward on their elbows, and has a comically enraged expression; sharp teeth, white eyes, cartoony tear shapes coming from the eyes, the whole thing. Their text box reads:
"F☆!*@?G IDIOT YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO FEEL THOSE!!!"
Then, in tiny text, outside the text bubble, "pls go hydrate..." with a little crying face doodle

Sketches of Usopp helping Zoro with his queer eye makeover 💅 from a very fun fic by @tookuni-faraway.bsky.social ! #fanart #ficart #Usopp #sketch #zoro

Sketch of Usopp grinning in a self-congratulatory manner, saying: "Ha! And you called me because I'm a fashion ✨️ genius ✨️, and you need my ✨️ expert advice!"
Zoro is standing in the background, wearing a towel around his waist and looking a bit lost at the meager selection of clothing items he owns laid out on a bunk in front of him.

A sketch of Zoro sitting on a bunk, still with the towel around his waist. He is resting his elbows on his thighs, holding still, and keeping his eye closed while Usopp holds his face still and very carefully applies makeup to the scar on the other side. Usopp looks very concentrated, his head is angled to the side and his younger is sticking out a bit as he focuses. Speaking of, the word "-focus-" is written above Usopp's head.

Sora with little baby Sanji, a request from @notsogreatkate.bsky.social (Alt text goes crazy on this one, fellas) #vinsmokesora #sanji #onepiece #fanart #vinsmoke

The drawing is lined with pen, and coloured with watercolour. It depicts Sora Vinsmoke, sitting in bed wearing her blue dress, with her legs under the sheets, and a tray of food resting on top of them. The food looks to be rice, or maybe porridge, with little bits of green and pink that could denote various ingredients. There is also a short green mug of tea. She is holding a spoon in her right hand, and with her left hand, she holds little Sanji close to her. Sanji, in his "3" outfit, is leaning back against his mother, looking up at her with gratitude and adoration. His right hand rests in a fist on one of his knees, which are slightly tucked in towards his chest. His posture, and the two bandaids and sore elbow, betray an underlying tension. But in this moment, he is only focused on his mother, and the fact that he has done a good job, and she is smiling at him with such love and care. His left hand gently holds her arm, wanting to keep her hand holding him and feel her comfort. A set of connected speech bubbles are coming from Sora. They read:
"Oh, my sweet boy..." "it is PERFECT, Sanji".
A heart punctuates her sentence, and another heart has been drawn near where Sanji's head rests against her.

I have a 2 page analysis to write, another set of readings to complete, then THAT reading response to write, All before I allow myself to make the drive to visit Cedar. (And read the last chapter of a fic I love that updated) I am truly being fueled by the power of love rn

He makes. The most stupid faces. 💛💙💚 #cedarsailor #art

Cedar looking softly off to the right, implied to be looking at Sailor. Sailor's reply is in a speech bubble coming from that direction, and says "Don't look at me like that" with little hearts and a blushing face drawn in the speech bubble

Cedar is now looking in the same direction with an absolutely devious expression, one that he actually does in real life where he can make his mouth do the owo cat face thing. The speech bubble from the right is now sharper as Sailor exclaims "SO MUCH WORSE!!"

I've decided that, in addition to nerd drawings, I am going to post self indulgent drawings of my fiancee and I, because it makes my heart sparkle :3 Cedar 💚 #cedarsailor #art

Two shoulders-up drawings: the one on the left is labeled "Cedar", and is a tired-looking young man in a green button down shirt with wing-shaped pins on either side. He has brown hair that is partially held up with a fish-shaped claw clip. The one on the right is labeled "Sailor", and is a smiling figure with chin-length, dark blonde hair that waves slightly. They are wearing a sweater with yellow and blue on it, beaming at Cedar

Laughing at the latest reason your dear captain launched himself overboard #Sanji #onepiece

A small illustration of Sanji done with pen outlines, and coloured with watercolour coloured pencils. He is laughing, and is dripping sea water. His blue button down shirt is not all the way buttoned up, and there are two written sketch notes, one on either side. The one on the left says:
hair curly when wet? :)
The one on the right says:
Just dove in after Luffy (again)

Trying to draw #Zoro in my style with a katana in his mouth is. An adventure. The spirit of which is summed up pretty well by my sketch notes. #onepiece ##fanart

A pencil drawing of Zoro with what is supposed to be the handle of a katana in his mouth. Scattered around the sketch are notes detailing my descent into madness as I tried to work out how to draw this. Starting on the right and going clockwise, the first notes I wrote read:
how tf
HOW TF
OK I'm working this out...
how does he talk
Then on the left, from top to bottom, the notes read:
GET UR DOG
it don't bite
YES IT DO
grr bark

Trying to figure out how I want to draw #Zoro and #Sanji :) They are such foils to each other, I love shape language. Sanji has softer features but sharper lines for his build, and Zoro has sharper features, but his build requires more curved lines. Does that make sense? I think so LOL

A lot of sketches of Sanji and Zoro, with little notes written in as I try to work out a consistent visual language for them. The drawings are mostly pre timeskip, with one of each being post timeskip. Some of these notes include that I draw Sanji with a heart shaped facial structure, and Zoro with a rectangular one. Another note cites the fact that I do not have a lot of experience drawing buff guys. Another, written next to the lower sketch of Zoro laughing with a mug next to him, says "drunk as a skunk". There is also a teeny drawing of them as kids, with Sanji looking very sad, and Zoro seeming confused about it.

Its him! Luffy! Sunshine himself! ❤️Smiling so big ur nose scrinkles, am I right fellas? #Luffy #onepiece #strawhatluffy #fanart

A shoulders and up illustration of Luffy, done with ink lines, and coloured with watercolour! He is smiling so wide that the bridge of his nose and the corners of his eyes are scrunched :) His eyes are closed, and he has his index fingers poking into either side of his face. He is wearing his straw hat and an open red shirt. There is a little doodle of a sun in white on his shirt on the right side, and one of a little heart on the left. Above the drawing there are doodles of little yellow suns and lines, and ink writing that reads "Smiiiile!!!" The picture has been edited so that the overall temperature is warmer, giving it a more sunny appearance <3

"Bright orange, with the split-second dash of blue" #Sanji from a #zosan fic by @64907.bsky.social that I have been absolutely loving! (If you saw my lineart the first time I uploaded this no u didnt)

Sanji (40 year old version from a specific fic) stands with his back to the viewer, looking over his shoulder. His legs are breathed in flames, which also curl up from his wrist and his neck. The flames are bright orange, with just a dash of blue. Sanji has a gentle smile, and his eye seems to glow with the same blue caught in the flames. Hanging from his ear is one of Zoro's earrings, the metal shining brightly with the colours of the flames around it. Written in (my best attempt at) cursive to the left of Sanji are the words "bright orange, with the split-second dash of blue". The words are glowing. :)

The lyrics "simple living things" are scrawled across the bottom of the sketch

Sketch of Sanji looking forward with an expression of gratitude and gentle happiness.
The lyrics "the absence of itself" are scrawled across the bottom of the sketch

Sketch of Sanji turning aside to smoke to hide his genuinely happy expression.
