My brother and I talk about story stuff and game stuff and idk if he knows I appreciate our rare talks and our relationship as siblings and how much his support means to me 🥺 both my brothers are so cool

Writing fanfic enabled me to get out of some really bad places. Think it's time I stop being ashamed of it.

Coworker: I'm hosting a wine tasting. Do you know anything about wine? Me internally: I think I'm fundamentally unlovable and will never truly trust people enough to be vulnerable again. I don't drink alcohol due to this. Me actually: Pick a white, a rose, and two reds. half a bottle per guest :)

Sometimes, a story moves you so much it revitalizes a whole genre for you. You feel compelled to seek more, to try to create yourself a shadow of what the author gave you. "Negative Scholarship on the Fifth State of Being" by @awprihandita.bsky.social had a beauty and humanity I'll never forget
