Just lost a few plates and the glass on a couple picture frames in an earthquake, but fine otherwise. Spent an hour in the yard just to make sure, but I think that was it. Surprising how strong a 4.4 feels if you're at the epicenter.

Snoring away happily now. She spent much of the preceding night sneezing violently. The only reason we didn’t go to the emergency vet is that none of the local ones were taking patients 😬!!! In the morning I used tweezers — and found she was hiding feather grass up her nose!

The little dog didn't know where I was (I was seated at the kitchen table) and I watched her look for me by opening various doors to other rooms — only, she's so short I couldn't actually see her, so it was a bit like watching a ghost move through the house.
