!["I don't need true love[heterosexual fairytale ending] I need you![Mari]"
"I want a world with you[Mari] in it" (this whole sequence is Lara saying Mari is the reason she wants to continue living)
"I want to be with you [Mari]"
In case you weren't paying attention to the end of the episode, Lara isn't leaving on some journey or going somewhere unreachable, she's going 30 minutes away by train to live on her own until she can "live on her own 2 legs" so to speak. The metaphor is pretty fucking obvious with how they specifically call attention to her legs and how they still hurt. She's going to deal with her trauma for a while before she can be in a relationship. Her feelings for Mari are not subtle and there's no room for doubt. The story tells you outright that they love each other in like 40 different ways throughout the last 2 episodes(at least).](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:kxx7iatef4he7slxzgrtfnrr/bafkreie76ar3st4eiov6ggrtalvtcnihp5woz7e4gztydhqfngwokfunym)
