I would like concert venues to have a split, where one side of the crowd is Dionysian; loud, chemically altered, throwing stuff, etc, and the other side is Apollonian; calm, sober, just quietly enjoying the music. Mostly, I just want the people right in front of me at the DMB concert to sit down.

Time to tell the story of The Grape Jelly Incident My parents have a huge amount of wild grape vines, and I decided to make a few batches of grape jelly. I’d made jams and jellies before, with good results, so morale and confidence were high. I washed and juiced the grapes with no issues.

The airline staff are absolutely sick of people’s shit tonight. Gate agent told the folks milling around to sit down until they are called, and repeated himself louder and louder until they did. Flight crew did the same for people not sitying down promptly so we can all get on our way. I dig it.
