One of the coolest things about JoTS #TSRConf is that it’s interdisciplinary and STEMmy, but also interested in qualitative work. Other events Ive been to that had such a wide breadth of fields in attendance were definite more catered to quant and prototypes/biomed @techimpactpolicy.bsky.social

If anyone is interested in my musings about Muse Spark. I do plan on making this a series not just on Muse but other LLMs and the interesting quirks of each. If yall know me it’s not going to be from a consumer nor doomer standpoint, but thoughts about UX, marketing, and some mischief.

I Tried Meta Muse AI
While its name sounds like something to make you regular, MetaMuseAI is definitely irregular—especially as a Meta product.

I did not expect my title slide of my presentation at #TSRConf to get so many laughs. If anyone wanted to see this slide again to identify all the easter eggs (like there being no like button) here it is. For all those who weren’t able to attend the live talk, i gotchu, this will be a Youtube video.

❤️ Im super thankful to have had the opportunity to contribute to JoTS. They have a wonderful editorial team who honestly gave the most helpful feedback Ive ever had that truly embody the spirit of peer review and were extremely responsive.

There is no way Bo Bertoch of Eagle Mountain, UT didn’t know the vulnerabilities of NameHim. His entire background is Cybersecurity and he couldn’t encrypt a simple site? If true that doesn’t bode well because Blackwell is healthcare security. #NameHim

Oh man! Pregos going into surveillance tech? This is definitely what I wanted with my pasta. A recording device. They will remember what they said. Can’t pretend you didn’t have that bad take. Prego remembers.

How many times do we have to remind people that crowdsourced list making and databases of “bad guys” never end well? But of course Cassandras are dismissed and accused of protecting “bad guys” Have we not learned from the failures of SocialAutopsy and Tea app?
