overwrite the past or build on top of it

Sketch page of algol and rue, characters in my dnd campaign. Rue is colored in shades of blue and Algol is colored in shades of red.
The first three panels show them sitting together while Algol realizes he can't hear her clearly anymore and his vision is blurring.
The next three panels are snapshots of different traumatic moments Algol has experienced with Rue, becoming increasingly blurry.
The last panel is a crystal clear image of Rue smiling and blushing at him, a pleasant glow behind her.

Two more large panels.
Algol wordlessly cups Rue's face in one hand to turn her towards him, with a sad and complicated expression on.
Then he kisses her gently.

Huge thank you to @sunnyoracle.bsky.social for giving me this beautiful MCRxFFVII crossover art while standing in the merch line at the concert. I love it dearly and immediately sent photos of it to everyone I know and they are all so jealous.

I would not fetter you, but I would shield you from yourself with mine own flesh and bones.

A series of panels showing the end of a fight between Cillian and Ekkehardt. The former is mostly unharmed and has blood on his knuckles and sword. The latter is cut and bruised in several places, mostly his face.
Cillian stomps his right foot down onto Ekkehardt's chest to keep him on the ground and raises his sword up, preparing to stab down into Ekkehardt's skull. A small panel shows a closeup of Cillian's eye, unfocused, angry, and crying. Ekkehardt pulls down on Cillians leg until he can reach the top of the prosthetic to disengage it.

I had a dream last night in which I was drawing Emet-Selch and the only thing I remember is stopping to assess my progress and going ‘Hm. His face isn’t haggard enough.’

Daffy @selchwife.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

My digital art has been very bad for a very long time so every time I draw it’s very demotivating bc nothing turns out well but also if I don’t draw the skills deteriorate even more so it’s an endless cycle of make art -> hate it -> stop drawing -> skill regression -> repeat forever

Had to take a break from art fight to make a present for a baby shower. The couple’s nursery is themed around Beatrix Potter so I tried to recreate one of her pieces for them :)
