- design, both in the name and look. The gold smudges used to be very 'off-brand eye of Horus' tattoo/markings before I did a big design update. That update altered colors to have a more two-tone look, removed some stripes, and added his blonde mane. Here's what he looked like before!

I don't usually do a lot of these posts, but maybe I shouldn't fear trying to engage with folks who follow me. Shoot whatever questions you like.

When I started playing D&D, I never thought it could be so therapeutic- playing Seraph changed my perspective. Here is Seraph's divine steed, a celestial spirit he reached out to and bonded with. He became known as Saint. Art also by @efaru.bsky.social And look, they match!

A painting of a dinosaur-like creature (based on an allosaurus) with white and gold scales. It wears an intricate bridle and reins, indicating it is a paladin's steed.

Seraph, Champion of the Brokered Dawn. Raised in a religious settlement, Seraph grew up well-loved by his guardians, but he was no stranger to loss- many of the faith's champions, monster hunters, made the ultimate sacrifice. He seeks to bring about a world free from fear. Art by @efaru.bsky.social

A painting of an anthropomorphic cobra man with golden scales clasps his hands in prayer, while looking up to the skies. He wears full plate armor, trimmed with gold, and a flowing red cape billows around him. A sunburst in the background crowns him as if he had a halo.

One of my D&D characters, Cassis the Burned. Once a mighty admiral of his nation, his defeat at the hands of an infamous pirate precipitated his exile in disgrace. Now he is known by a new name, and that name is feared by all who would avoid a bloody fate at sea. Art by @frostllamzon.bsky.social

A large Minotaur with dark hide, clad in gladiator-style armor. Burn scars cover a large portion of his body, and his face is obscured by a gladiatorial helmet. He wields a massive maul engraved with a ship on a stormy sea.

No one I've talked to has ever heard of this game, and it completely flopped as a release title, but goddamn do I have some intense nostalgia for it.

A game cover for an original Xboz game called Azurik: Rise of Perathia. It features the titular character, a blue man wielding a double-bladed staff, standing in front of a landscape showing the four elements.

Arkaz's fall didn't just mutate his body- it warped his mind and magic like light refracted through a prism. His mind not be what it was, but a dangerous cunning still lurks behind those multi-colored eyes... Well, the one that hasn't been overtaken by crystal growths at least. CW: body horror

A crystal dragonborn tugs back his hood to peer at something off-screen. Though his cloak and hood hide some of him, one glance reveals the wild crystal growths overtaking his body, even crystallizing over one of his eyes.

Arkaz was once a handsome, respected wizard and an accomplished scholar. But an obsession with crystal magic led him to increasingly extreme experiments, driving him towards disaster. Pristine white scales have now become translucent crystal, shimmering with wild magic. Art by @efaru.bsky.social

A crystal dragonborn unleashes a torrent of swirling magic around himself, shards of crystals caught in the shimmering currents. It's not clear where the magic ends and his body begins.

Adventurous Mage! To achieve his goals, Sektoth will venture into dee catacombs, perilous ruins, horrifying dungeons... anything to find another piece of lost magic and unravel its secrets. Sek's looking a little beefed up here. Must be all the dungeon delving! Art by @pacelic.bsky.social

A draconic mage leaps out towards a floating, magical artifact. It's some sort of crystal, shining light on the mage as he gets closer. He seems to be using some sort of spell to get to it.

XV - RITUAL One of the Sketchtober days by @bonfiredemon.bsky.social had the theme of 'Ritual'. A prompt I love. Sektoth seems well prepared for the ritual here... but is he ready for the consequences? The demon sure is. Rumor has it that there are more versions of this on Bonfire's Patreon...

A dragon lies on his back, bound, in a ritual circle lit by candles. Sweat drips down his scales. A mostly unseen, much larger male has the dragon's legs hefted up over his own while he rests an intimidatingly large cock against the dragon. The dragon looks nervous.

Technically for my character's old design, but probably still the best one I've got. (Art by Tanraak.)

Glad you asked! S'aqar here is slowly succumbing to a form of corruption unique to Khajiit, the endpoint of which leaves one transformed into a dro-m'Athra. Very nasty beings, shades and body-stealers that are usually depicted with cracks of ghostly blue light crossing their bodies, and their eyes.

Well it's been a while since I've shared them last, so what the heck. Here are the brothers Dhurzan and Marik, a monster hunter and a psionic respectively. They were separated when they were young under mysterious circumstances, but now they continue to search for each other across the wider world.

An orc man with yellow eyes and a body covered in scruff and scars. He wears his hair in a dreadhawk and sports a full beard.

An orc facing the viewer with an intense expression, adorned in various ear-ring and a septum piercing. He wears a vaguely eye-like symbol tattooed on his forehead.

One of my favorite recent pieces of Sektoth, the mage from the desert lands of Azen-Ka. Here we see him with an outfit from his homelands, and magically grafted gold lines helping the mana flow through the young spellcaster's body. Art by @/pacelic1 (from Twitter)

Pretty happy with my character appearance so far. My robes? I... lost them.
