As you have perhaps guessed from my username, I am Sevokh of Gushina, and this is my first post on Sekh-net — indeed, it is my first post on the World Wide Web itself! To tell the truth, I initially had no interest in using the Internet. I do not understand how it works at all, and as many of you are certainly aware, I am often content to go about things the traditional way. However, I am also a djetudja, and Sekh-net is of course a virtual rso'akheipat of sorts. All djetudja are strongly encouraged to make accounts on this website, that they may keep up with and share Sekharu's news more efficiently. As I pride myself in..."

As a certified cowboy Veritable has questions about the #Godpoke outfit #GreatGodGrove #Art #DigitalArt #ScamLikely

sketch of a man wearing godpoke's outfit and saying, "shirt's nice, but... skinny jeans & cowboy boots, kid? You sure about this?"
a taller, skinnier person who's wearing a goth outfit says in ASL, "everyone wears skinny jeans these days dad" (they're drawn signing "everyone").
the man: "Godpoke ain't a real cowboy, then."
the kid: "duh, that's why they called god*poke*. cowpokes can wear skinny jeans"
man: "You know what I mean."

The other day I was sketching Landon's true form. This is what it's hiding from humans #Art #OCsky #sejedenSekh #TraditionalArt #ScamLikely

On the left, 3 sketches of a blobby creature with horn-like antennae and tentacles. Sometimes it has 4 stumpy legs. On the right, a humanoid version of the creature with goopy dreads and more tentacles. In the middle is two facial expressions: raising an eyebrow with its antennae painted forward, and an angry face labeled "about to shriek".

Just remembered I can post snippets of my writing on here (the Dad in question is Veritable, this is from Landon's POV) #OCsky #WriteSky #ScamLikely #sejedenSekh

Screenshot of some writing that says:

Dad leaned forward just a tiny bit, and his eyes glimmered with excitement. He was *enjoying* this. “If you promise to tutor Landon for the full academic school year, without tellin’ a single soul about his identity or this arrangement, I’ll pay you an extra $200 in cash per week. How does that sound to you, ma’am?”

“I-I don’t…“

“$250? $300? $400? I can keep goin’,” Dad declared with complete confidence, “because I need Landon to have the best education possible and you’re the best readin’ teacher I could find. You *will* be teachin’ my kid, ma’am, no matter what your price is.”

screenshot of the synopsis on Sekh-net: Landon, a New Orleanian street performer, wants to be in a band. Its dad, Veritable, loves teaching statistics to college students. But when their cat unexpectedly dies, Veritable decides to revive her, at the cost of exposing their secret identities as magical viya. Landon has a plan to get them out of trouble, but now Veritable has to face the consequences for his past mistakes. Will he ever get to teach again? Will Landon get to form a band?

Hi I'm Kendrick/Jules (he/him) and I do a bunch of cool stuff, mainly for my #OC project #sejedenSekh - trad & digital #art - #writing, #worldbuilding & #conlang ing - coding my website, where you can see my art, pics, short stories & #poetry - #photography & digital collages

digital art of a tall black woman standing with her arm extended. she wears a sparkly, white, sleeveless jumpsuit with purple frills and matching disconnected sleeves that reach to her palms. her jumpsuit has a moon-themed belt, and she also wears crescent moon earrings and sunglasses with crescent-y lenses. she also has 5 inch platform flats with a purple wave pattern on the sides. her hair is two long afro ponytails that are dark purple with white hair patterned like the phases of the moon. she's on a bi flag colored landscape with a giant disco ball moon and stars in the sky

Digital vector art designed to look like it's made of cut up pieces of construction paper. In the center is a circular light skinned black person's head. He has a buzzcut and goatee drawn on with red crayon, his eyes are squeezed shut and he's screaming. A jagged red tongue is sticking out of his mouth. There are construction paper flames, scraps of paper with his skin tone, and in the background is the word FUCK in amateurishly scribbled crayon

Bright red 1312 spray-painted onto a rough white wall. There are a couple of footprints on the wall, as well as other graffiti scribbles that loosely frame the 1312.

alt text bc i forgor to add it earlier: photograph of neon pink letters on a black frame that say "This present moment used to be the unimaginable future." the whole room is bathed in pink light, except for a dark gray strip towards the bottom. there are faint clouds overlaid on the image
