Got Magic School Bus on the store’s TV. Brought up to my coworker @starhound.bsky.social ‘s and many others’ theory that Ms Frizzle is a time lord. He insisted that she’s just a witch/magician. I dunno I find it more heartwarming/awesome if she was a time lord

Discord seems to be implementing its age restriction bs. Got caught in the crossfires of it for a bit there, but since it's a glitched roll out, I got myself out after a refresh. Really hope it doesn't kick me out of the communities that have age restrictions. I'd hate to lose contact with friends

This, along with copying Pokemon's basic framework as a whole, was always why I give a big eyebrow raise to 95% of the indie monster taming games out there

"They're not misunderstanding the film; they're co-opting a message"

Screencap from the interview linked in the quoted post

Marlow Stern (the interviewer): You have one of the most renowned replies in Twitter history. Elon Musk tweeted out, “Take the red pill,” then Ivanka Trump enthusiastically wrote, “Taken!” to him, and then you replied, “Fuck both of you.” I’m curious how you feel about the co-opting of “The Matrix” by those on the right who don’t really seem to understand its messaging.

Lilly Wachowski: I mean, I can’t sit in a room and explain the movie to every single person who watches it. Even if I did sit in a room with Elon Musk and Ivanka Trump — yikes — it doesn’t matter. They’re not misunderstanding the film; they’re co-opting a message. And that’s what fascists do: They co-opt the messages of progressives and use it to their benefit to confuse and obfuscate what is going on and the intention of their ideology. They do it with everything. They do it with Martin Luther King Jr. Look at how they’ve changed the idea of what antisemitism is.

The feeling of "This can't be the end, there's still a final big boss like entity like Apocalymon, the D-Reaper, Lucemon or Yggdrasil that the series hasn't even come close to hinting at for this" is extremely strong with me.

Something I will admit about blusky is the concept of finding like minded individuals who like certain things does seem to run true here and still seems to since people have brought that up a year or two ago. Only downside of this site is, like old Twitter, bots seem to be a thing here as well

I was home schooling when 9/11 occurred. My memories of it was waking up in the morning, watching tv and then seeing the news report on it. I do remember the sense of dread and confusion, but I also implementing that in the RP I was doing with my friend at the time where our chars talked about it

Hot MLP Take: I absolutely hate the bejesus out of Andy Price's artwork for the MLP franchise and I have no idea how people seriously love it. He's a talented artist, make no mistake. But his art style absolutely clashes with the G4 design

Watched a bit of the first episode of The Raccoons for the first time. I... kinda sorta like it? It feels like your typical cartoon, but the character designs are... unique to say the least. Also, I feel like this cartoon wants to have as many 80s pop montage songs in one episode as possible.
