Sometimes I put too much effort into lil one-off fixturing components that I'm literally just gonna throw out

These Kotobukiya/Maruttoys Tamotu and Noseru model kits have been my favorite #gunpla to build so far. 1/12 scale is pretty cool, I'll have to get some more someday, before the prices explode outside of amazon too.

I really wanna burn ludacris' "rollout" to a CD and print this on the label, I just don't have a high enough quality photo printer 😔 #pokemon

Pulled Final Fantasy Legend out of my bag of GB games for today's #RandomGameSaturday This cart was given to me by a friend at his own birthday party because he disliked it so much, ha. Funny that it's really the first in the SaGa series.

Under a tree was definitely the best way to play the original series Got a handful of pics before swapping the shell, still waiting on the hinges to arrive #retrogaming #pokemon

Got the new Game Boy Advance SP display set up last night, gotta wait on shell hinges cause I don't wanna cannibalize the originals. Impressed so far, brightness and viewing angles are def better than AGS101 and controlling the menu with the original brightness button is great.

Darn, I'd be surprised if things don't pick up and get dramatic later on but I guess idk

I'll be very curious what you think of Dawntrail. A lot of people were very critical of it, I'm gonna try to have a very open mind whenever I get there

Cool game but no running and shooting at the same time was weird. I wonder if it re used some re4 movement code

Iirc the story was pretty interesting and tried to flesh out more back story for Gray Fox. I can't remember it that well but I think mgs ground zeroes implies it's non-canon

Another one I picked up from that second-hand games store Kinda surprised there are still the odd listing for this game at like 30+ bucks #randomgamesaturday

But also the psyduck knocked a plant over and broke one of their table legs?

000

Seggi @seglectic.com · 22/08/2026

So like did Team Rocket rob them by blasting a hole in the house and then having a psyduck with super dirty feet steal their dig TM?

Seggi @seglectic.com · 22/08/2026

Yeah, even before then it was still like 500-600 bucks, basically astronomical for the time

Lightning tonight was super crazy while being bone dry out, wish I kept a tripod on me. I set my cam on my car's roof and fired a couple long exposies. You can see a car that went by in the second pic hah #photography

PICKLE POWER This is the thing powering my GBA SP and it's been working great. Did we take battery life hilariously for granted back then?

squird The subpixels on the AGS101 are pretty, got a modern display mod for this thing and hopefully it'll be an upgrade. Anyway pokemon is still fun

Alright I guess I'm done with my GBA theme editor thing. It can generate .bgr theme files for Everdrive GBA Pro and patch GBAOS.gba firmware for Everdrive GBA Mini by Krikzz. Normally you can't have backgrounds on a GBA Mini www.seglectic.com/evertheme/

Alright fine, been screwing around with GBA stuff enough that it's time to start another Pokemon playthrough. I guess I'll start with Fire Red and if I actually commit enough to beating the Elite 4 maybe I'll finally beat Emerald. #retrogaming #pokemon

Many a person's first digital camera Not me, I had an Aiptek PenCam Might eventually whip up a board that dumps the images from one and makes it available over a local AP fully portably but idk. I have a couple of the thermal printers for this thing, I gotta try it out. #retrogaming

Made a tool that converts pics into what they would look like on #retrogaming hardware, it's kinda jank but a neat concept.

Snapped this pretty awesome pic of my porch toad Toaby last night. This was like a 1s exposure cause it was so dark out, lens kept fogging up cause it's so muggy. Ugh Anyway he's been immortalized in my Everdrive GBA's menu theme now. #Photography #Frogtography

Threw a code agent at the theme generator for @krikzz.bsky.social's Everdrive GBA Pro. This should make adding a theme be as easy as drag/dropping your font/background and tuning the desired scrollin. Does everything everything fully in the browser, pretty promising result!
