This is how you do the 'boxing day leftover lunch' thing: bacon wrapped sausage meat stuffing, turkey, roast potato, roast parsnip, and gravy sandwiches. One also included some nice smoked cheddar cheese, and both had a mix of other condiments. #leftovers #sandwich #sarnie

A large pile of carrots sat in a colander, waiting to become carrot wine.

A plastic tub with a slicing machine letting forth a stream of sliced carrot into it.

A large (5 litre) saucepan full of sliced carrots and water, simmering gently to extract as much flavour as possible.

Approx. 5 litres of carrot juice, plus sugar and a few extras, just before adding the yeast to begin the fermentation.

[Alcohol] Today's gift haul... I'm sensing a theme here, and I'm OK with this.

A collection of 3 bottle bags, a tin of sweets, and a bar of chocolate.
The sweet tin announces its content as Peanut Butter and Jelly Munch, whatever that is, and the chocolate bar is dark with rum flavoured raisins (no actual rum though).

Same scene as the previous picture, but with the bottles stood in front of the bags they were in before.
The centre bottle is Captain Morgan's Spiced rum, the others a little hard to make out from this distance...

The label shows it to be 65% ABV... Crikey

Another close-up, this time of a bottle of Beckford's Rum & Spiced Pineapple spirit drink.
This is a more manageable 40% ABV.
