Someone at the office suddenly turned on the SonarQube code style analysis tool and suddenly my pull request requires an overhaul just so I can submit the original fix. 😫

It's rare that I am sick enough to not write code. Lying down and not being productive is not a good feeling.

I grew up watching He-Man so I was excited for this film. I'm sorry to report that most of it is garbage, with a few exceptions. Idris Elba absolutely knocked it out of the park, the CGI for the scenes and characters were great, ... and the main theme is killer. youtu.be/2rDwtaUq-7k

There have been rumors of a stealth action game like Assassin's Creed that focuses on witchcraft and demonic magic. It seems those rumors are true, but in the form of a game called 1666 Amsterdam.

Not sure what the deal is, but I feel sick as a dog. Sleeping most of the day, headaches, and general unease. Resting as best I can but it makes for a boring Sunday.

My throw-away laptop finally gave out, so I'm installing things to my emergency laptop (that is no longer needed for the emergency). I tried Opera and it couldn't play Hakka's stream. I switch to Brave and it's smooth as butter.

My new job is too good to be true. My salary got a huge bump; the company gives paid half days every Friday; and we're in the middle of a merger set to finalize in a few months. Until then, our roadmap is "work on whatever, learn some new skills." I still have some challenging work, but wow.

I'm coming to the end of my Crimson Desert playthrough. It is a very interesting RPG, but flawed in how much information it hides unnecessarily. The devs have been patching the game non-stop for weeks, just to make it playable. Even so, I hope they explore a sequel that is clean and focused.

This is one of my favorite Matt Parker videos because it's iterative programming at its finest. Programmers have to remove their ego from the equation or else they'll spend every month devastated by the senior dev's round of refactors. youtu.be/c33AZBnRHks

I need to visit the pharmacy today but I feel awful, either because of my meltdown or some flu bug. It's times like this that make me wish my local pharmacy was willing to deliver meds. I'm going to rest but I HAVE to get this done tomorrow. Here's hoping I feel better by then.

Have you ever monetarily supported someone so much that they take your support for granted? Not just a V-Tuber or streamer thing, just any relationship in general. If I were to stop supporting them because it no longer feels like a gift, am I in the wrong? Is there a better way to handle it?
