So since I need to get shiny Poipoles and Type: Nulls, I finally had to go through Pokemon Ultra Moon. However, I also never beat Moon so I wanted to beat that first so I could properly experience Alola. Anyway a week and a half later, I have now beat both. Teams below :)

Scott the Woz mentioned this in a Scott's Stash video but wow, Valen Studios really was an oddball pick to develop the recent Starfox remake given their history. Team should be proud they managed to reach so high and still nailed it.

I didn't have the issue of it running poorly that some others on my Galaxy S25 but my big issue is THE WINDOW IS SO SMALL, WHY??? I beat the first level and the controls were fine (not good but much better then I expected), it just hurts my eyes...

At first, I was sold. Then I saw the Supporter Pack doesn't just include a bunch of development info (which is already awesome) but you can use A TEST VEHICLE THEY HAD FOR TESTING THE PHYSICS. Best Supporter Pack ever.

The debug vehicle they used to visualize forces on the vehicle while testing physics.

I'm still annoyed that the only fighting game Megaman.exe, my favorite of them all, has been put into was fucking Onimusha Blade Warriors. Battle Network's variety of chips give so much potential for a moveset!

I continue to always find whatever Pokemon are top cuts in Pokemon Go PVP hilarious. Clodsire and Quagsire both regularly get to show up (usually not at the same time tho), Galarian Corsola is never evolved, and random fuckass Pokemon like Malmetal and Thieval are actually useful for once.

The top 12 Pokemon in day 2 of the Pokemon Go Baltimore regionals with Malmetal at 68.8% usage, Clodsire at 50% usage, Florges at 43.8% usage, Galarian Corsola and Hisuian Electrode are both at 37.5%, Thieval is at 31.3%, Araquanid and Shadow Sableye are at 25%, and then Altaria, Cramorant, Dondozo, and Shadow Ninetales all are at 18.8%

Hey y'all, this shit slaps. Definitely give this a demo if you like Picross (or Squeakross or Pictoquest or any other nonogram games). Honestly if the full game dropped the way it is but with more puzzles, it would still easily be a top nonogram game on Steam. I might recommend it over Picross!

Hell yeah, absolutely my game of the year. I waited for 1.0 to drop and I'm glad I did since the game is now where the devs initially envisioned it being and it's a good place to be. It's not a perfect game but it's absolutely a 10/10 experience. If you like this kind of stuff, absolutely play it.

Fields of Mistria 100% achievement completion in 165.1 hours. Though probably like 15% of that was afk so really like 140 hours.

I'm glad one of the reasons I was excited for Pokemon Champions is coming true, even if just a little bit for now. Separating the competitive battling from the main games means they're now able to freely alter Pokemon movesets and move stats without messing with the single-player experiences.

Got another reply on a 12-year old reddit post and I finally got the ability to show I've righted my wrongs :)

A 12 year old post (it was from the launch of Pokemon X and Y) where someone asks if anyone said no to the free Lucario you get from the Mega Evolution tutorial.

My reply was: "I did, you just leave and she stands there forever, waiting for you to say yes. I got to the bottom of the tower though and felt bad so I went back up and got him. He remains in my P.C. to this very day though..."

Then someone 9 years later (3 years ago from now) replied with "It's been 9 years and he's still in your PC. Just think about that."

So I replied: "The fact that you came here nine years later just to remind me of my sins is not fair 😭

Also holy shit, I was in my sophomore year of high school when I made that comment and now I'm an adult with a job and an apartment and shit. That dipshit you replied to couldn't even imagine the things that'd come next for him LMAO"

Then someone replied to me 13 hours ago (12 years from the original post) asking if the Lucario was still in there and I said no and attached a picture of the Lucario, leveled up a bit and with the Kalos champion medal.

I like what Cassette Beasts does with their "combine x and y" design strategy. They're just well-made and unique and I can't help but love em :) Like Pyromeleon's line is just lizard + wizard, Fungogh's line is artist + fungus, Scubalrus's line is scuba + pinniped, Cat-5's line is cat + TV, etc.

Apparently 1047 is pulling the plug on both Splitgate: Arena Reloaded (that relaunch of the first game) and Empulse (that other shooter that was like Titanfall but nothing like Titanfall) and are pivoting...elsewhere? Everything about 1047 Games has been a disaster and it all lies on mismanagement.

Today, we have some difficult news to share: we are ending active development on *Empulse* and *Splitgate: Arena Reloaded*. This is a hard update for us to write. We love these games, and we know this will be disappointing and frustrating for a lot of people. We are sorry.

The reality is that neither game is generating enough revenue to support the ongoing cost of dedicated servers. We have continued covering those costs because we wanted to give both games every opportunity to grow, but we have reached the point where that is no longer sustainable. We have loved working on these games, playing them, and building them with this community, and we wish we could continue supporting them.

What we do not want to do is simply shut the games down.

We believe people should be able to keep playing the games they love even after active development ends. The original *Splitgate* launched seven years ago. When its dedicated servers went offline last year, we moved it to peer-to-peer so people could keep playing. It remains playable today, including on console. Wherever technically possible, we want that to be true of every game we make.

So we have reworked *Empulse* and *Splitgate: Arena Reloaded* to support peer-to-peer play.

On **Thursday, September 3**, both games will move to peer-to-peer hosting with a server browser. Dedicated servers and matchmaking will shut down, but players will still be able to host matches, find games, and play with friends forever. *Empulse* will also receive one new map and lower its price across all regions. This will be the final version of *Empulse*.

Active development may be ending, but we'll still be playing *Empulse* and *Splitgate: Arena Reloaded* and hanging out in the Discord. If you see us in a lobby, come say hi.

Mega Chandelure is actually much closer. With party power 2 and 3, it's actually pretty competitive. (this is also at level 40)

Party power 2 puts shadow reshiram at first with 40.05 edps, primal groudon at second with 39.54 edps, and mega chandelure at third with 38.36 edps

Party power 3 puts shadow reshiram at first with 45.90 edps, mega delphox at second with 44.78 edps, and mega chandelure at third with 43.59 edps

One of my least favorite parts about Pokemon Go is that even if you really like a Pokemon, it can pretty often just be objectively worse then better options. Like Rayquaza just completely invalidates Staraptor. Here's level 40 + party power 4 and it's not even close! It's beat even by normal Ray!

Mega Rayquaza has an effective dps of 64.22, Rayquaza has an effective dps of 47.71, and Mega Staraptor has an effective dps of 46.99

According to this chart they dropped like half a year ago, I guess anything marked verified on deck is safe to verify for machine. I played through Dungeon Gals flawlessly on deck when it came out so I'd be pretty damn shocked if the machine had an issue with it.

A chart that Valve put out describing how things previously tested for steam deck would be confirmed for the steam machine.

Anything verified for deck or marked just playable for legibility or resolution is marked as machine verified.

Anything marked as playable on deck for any other reasons are marked as machine playable.

Anything marked unsupported on deck because of steamos is marked as unsupported on machine.

Anything marked unplayable on deck because of performance is marked to get tested on machine.

Yesterday's fucked-up patch with Digimon Up was finally enough for me to stop giving a shit about the game. I've completed five laps of the stages but I'm all set now. The game sucks but it was a fun kind of terrible, I've just lost interest. This game wasn't ready to release and it shows.

Despite normally not being that fond of third-person shooters outside of Splatoon, I took Jaxvtuber starting Warframe as an excuse to start it myself and this has been my feeling about it the past couple of days.

I generally don't struggle with single player in Splatoon games. Stuff like Girl Power Station and After Alterna I could handle pretty easily. I have been bashing my head against this level for hours. The time feels so tight and I'm too stubborn to grind more 😵‍💫 (SPOILERS FOR VERY LATE POST-GAME)

It's for level 97 and I am level 50 + 19 (as you stop your real leveling at level 50)
