Seems a little on-the-nose for a game called Obscure to now be obscure enough for prices on the secondhand market to look like this.

Ebay listings for the NTSC version of survival horror game Obscure on Xbox, running $250 on average for a complete copy. Copies without the manual were more like $150, and the PAL version was as low as $70.

Conversely, the PS2 version was higher on average. There was a disc-only copy with an asking price of $350.

Was digging through my archives for something and ran into an interesting endgame result I got in Goldeneye back in 2004. #ScanlineSunday

The end-of-game results in Goldeneye on Nintendo 64. Somehow I managed to get both "longest innings" and "shortest innings" in the same match. I guess I went a long time without being killed, then got killed quickly the next time as a followup?

I didn't grow up in that culture so the occasional glimpses I see into it are fascinating to say the least.

Got some vintage #furryart that's been in my files for ages and thought I would see how it looks on a CRT for #ScanlineSunday

Pic of an abandoned Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers mod from 2002, where the titular duo has been replaced by a couple of my own characters. Here we see Bailey (tiger) scouting ahead from a higher elevation while Adrian (fox) lays low.

In my art Adrian is normally a wolf but, you know, palette limitations.

Status screen portrait for Bailey, a long-haired tiger wearing shades and a bandana. He's named after the famous password from Metroid but for some reason I usually refer to him by his last name.

My camera kept blowing out any detail when I tried to get both portraits in the same shot.

I think I did a good job translating my art style to within NES limits.

Gonna unwind with some RollerGames on this Random MAME Saturday.
