So I saw the article that @sonyplaystation.bsky.social is going to be phasing out physical discs in 2028. Which means I am never buying a ps game again after December 2027. Been gaming since 98 and I'm glad I still have my ps2 and physical discs.

Back to crocheting again. Started on the purple for my niece's afghan

I finished Dungeon Crawler Carl and I am obsessed. I loved it. I'm on the holdlist for book 2 from my library

It got cooler so Nyx is very cuddly again. She's purring up a storm on my chest

I was accidentally brilliant while writing today. I set up a beautiful inciting incident for one character's arc while dealing with another character and their plans

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

I only managed to write 350 words today. But it was 350 words I didn't have yesterday. Small victories

Writing today with music from Die Zauberflöte on in the background. I like it so far. This is my first time listening to it

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

I am once again wishing I could just beam my story straight into the doc instead of physically typing it out. It's in my head. Getting it out is the problem

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

I don't have to work tomorrow or have any other responsibilities I have to take care of. Therefore, I am reliving my childhood by playing Monster Rancher 2 until waaay too late into the night

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

I have been slowly chipping away at the trophies for #ResidentEvilRequiem and I now have three left. Spoiler alert I have the 4 hour speedrun, completing Insanity difficulty, and not using the blood collector. *channeling my inner Leon* Should be fun

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

I finished my book last night. I have no books. I am bookless. Back on to Libby to find another to borrow

I platinumed Garden Life today. I had a delightful time playing and probably will keep playing. It's such a lovely game

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

There was a thunderstorm last night with some truly stunning lightning. I love lightning

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

I am playing Garden Life and enjoying it so much. It's so calming and relaxing

Jax was sound asleep draped half over my lap last night. He's such a cuddly boy

I'm actually really excited to work on my new wip. I'm so happy

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

My niece and nephew videocalled me and we played videogames together for an hour while we talked. My nephew was playing a zombie survival game, my niece was playing minecraft, and I was playing re9. It was fun

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Still getting jumpscared on my second playthrough of re9. Standard Classic mode is hard. Ammo is a problem. But I have the doll

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

Inspiration sparked for a short story in one of my wips. I may go write that instead of avoiding working on another wip. My brain really does not like forcing it

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

I enjoy that, when I get obsessed with a book or piece of media, I start to dream about it. Shoutout to my weird Resident Evil dream last night. That was fun

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

My nephew started playing a new game and videocalled me because he wanted to play with me

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

I adore Resident Evil Requiem. I'm still thinking about it a few days after I finished my first playthrough. I think I'm gonna start another one

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

I have the framework nearly complete to turn the Smile Maidens into a dnd monster. When my players level up some, they're gonna face them. Wish them luck, they're gonna need it

It started pouring when I was about to leave work yesterday. Lucky me, I had an umbrella. In my car.

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

I just finished watching #IronLung and omg it was brilliant. I love the slow burn existential/eldritch dread and horror. I also love bottle movies and this one exemplified that. So good. So fun. Need a dvd release

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 19/11/2025

Got the colors for the first afghan finished. Now I just gotta piece it together

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

Had a #query day today and came up with a comp comparison I'm really proud of "Angels similar to the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh with vibes of The Goblin Emperor almost in reverse for Lucifer"

10 of 32 squares of this first color for the first nibling afghan. Both are gonna be a checkerboard pattern

Getting to work crocheting afghans for my niblings. It's gonna be a checkerboard pattern. Also doing a Swat rewatch while crocheting

Made some wax seals for Halloween cards my mom and I are sending to my brother, sil, and the niblings. I am so happy with how they turned out

I got my shipment from #StonefoldKingdoms today. For Christmas a few years back, my mom pledged for tier 4 on their kickstarter. I am so delighted. This is amazing. When I start dm'ing again, I've got great maps

Preordered the Nice advent calendar from @diceenvy.bsky.social and received it today. Already opened it because I have no patience lol. I am. Delighted

Sent more queries today. Hopefully my manuscript intrigues a literary agent enough for them to want to represent it

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 21/07/2025

Mexican Gothic is such a good book. I loved it so much. A+ gothic horror with a side of body horror and a personal phobia of mine. 10/10 would recommend and read again

000

Sam Cyborski💙💗💜 @secyborski.bsky.social · 09/07/2025

Throwing this out into the bluesky sphere. Is there any #literaryagent open to #queries looking for queer urban fantasy that is a twist on Christian religious mythology?

It's so hot my cat Nyx melted on the balcony

I have fallen into the sinkhole that is Dredge. I'm having so much fun playing it. I'm also ignoring the main questline in favor of just fishing. Look, I'm a completionist. Give me an encyclopedia to fill out and I absolutely will

I submitted my short story today to a #writing #contest I entered. Fingers crossed and now we wait 🤞

The Games Gods Play by Abigail Owen is such a good book. I devoured it in a single day and I'm highly looking forward to the next book

A very sleepy and snuggly Nyx. She is snoring

So apparently, there's an article saying that a good portion of authors are using ai in their work and keeping it secret. I am stating simply and clearly that I do not and will not use ai in any of my writing. Ever. Nor have I in the past

A friend told me that one of my short stories is one of the best things I've ever written, in their opinion, and they never wanna read it again. I am delighted

The Cygnus region of the Milky Way, including the North America nebula and a meteor. Not the best shot in the world I know but this was shot in Bortle 5 sky area which is very light polluted, so it pleased me. Enjoy your day, evening, night #bluesky friends.
