I present to you one (1) good graph in these trying times. Solar energy now accounts for the majority of new energy generation. As of last year, renewables surpassed coal as the largest source of electricity worldwide. (Source: IEA Global Energy Review 2026)

A graph of Global electricity generation by source 2015-2025. The clearest trend on display is the rise of renewable energy; roughly doubling from ~6000TWh to ~11000TWh in that time. Source: IEA.

That last picture reminds me of when I told my friends where I was going next during my trip, and they collectively decided to locate me in real-time via train station webcam footage.

A Steam message with the text "MISSION SUCCESS BOIS" followed by two images from a Japanese train station webcam. The second image is zoomed in with three red arrows pointing to a circled train car, with a text box above that says "Budster??".
