Grow Up Show was a really solid original anime and now that the season is done and it ended well I’d happily recommend it to anyone. Sad I didn’t get a bit more yuri and that that kind of faded out but it wasn’t a yuri show so I’m not surprised.

Actually the Goodbye Lara ending IS v. bad. The anime overall still has a lot of bigger writing problems but that is a typical S relationship-style ending if I've ever seen one. It does RGU beat by beat but doesn't put in the work that RGU did to be subversive or answer its own thematic question(s)
