I think one of the most important things to realize when dealing with a disorder that can affect emotional regulation (Autism, Bipolar Disorder etc.) is to actualize this: "I am feeling this way NOW...I will not feel this way forever." It is very easy to tunnel into a mood, but not useful.

*Sigh* This dumb show really stuck itself into my heartguts... I don't think it helps that it came out right when Mom's lukemia got really bad. I no joke watched half this silly dog cartoon in a hospital waiting room. I think I just needed something with simple solutions and endearing warmth.

When I move back to my hometown, I'm very tempted to resume volunteering at the local humane society like I did in my teens... But I KNOW that's how I end up with a second dog, and since I'll be living with my Dad for a while that's untennable. The fact he's fine with Lumi at all is unexpected.

It would be so nice to be someone's houseroo... I'm fastidiously tidy (most of the time), I can bake, I know how to make several soups, amazing tea and can make book recommendations at the drop of a hat... Only drawback is my love language is letting me ramble about silly nonsense.

One of the funnier things about watching this recent administration backfire all over itself is...The Big Orange is so pro oil and fossile fuel... But the oil crisis he's created has caused more surging interest in solar power and electric cars than ever. He's part of the reason it's more normal.

I think one of the silver linings that I'll probably end up moving back to Florida when the time comes is...I really do kinda love my hometown... It's stereotypically Florida-horrible, but its got a great art scene, my old writer's meetup, my favorite bookstore and the largest library in the state.
