Five years ago, my newest @engrstudies.bsky.social paper was chapter 2 of my #Anthropology dissertation. I am trying to keep the space alive for the intersection of disciplinary knowlege X a topic that lots of interdisciplinary and #STS scholars have already 👣 traveled through.

My mother, Gillian Mallory Bruce (1954-2010): Valued education, was very ambitious for me 😭 Gillian wanted me to be able to transcend my working-class origins through education.

Today marks 5 years since we arrived in #Germany! 🇩🇪 Yesterday I submitted my first-ever #research proposal to Horizon Europe, and today I have registered for the B1 language test in October. Now, off to the public library to check on my interlibrary loan. Tomorrow is definitely a spa day 🏊‍♀️🧖‍♀️

The newly-created class Social Studies of Energy existed twice at Technical University of Munich, once in the “Industries & Innovation” module and once in the “NatureCultures & Sustainability” module. With IEEE journal editor @ketraschmitt.bsky.social I created a peer-reviewed record of my class. 🧵
