TfL will soon be introducing pedicab regulations, phased over the next year. Clear standards for drivers, vehicles and fares will improve safety, ensure fair treatment for customers, and support a more professional pedicab market - and London's night time economy.

Pedicabs could be a fun, quick and green way to get around London, but they’re currently unregulated, which can lead to antisocial driving, loud music and steep overcharging. So, we're planning to regulate pedicabs for the first time in London, to make London safer and greener.
