☁️✨Reiss, Rally And Drive ☯Reiss-Russell Alexander-Denny is of the most complete players I've seen at academy level in both boxes & in between ⚽️Two footed goalscoring 6-8-10-LW, takes set pieces, immaculate weight of pass, second ball harvesting machine seb4stien.substack.com/p/reiss-rall...

We made a sideways step so that other people could experience the kick to sit in the hot seat. Just like the profiling (and team displays) that are identical to Poch; we just need to switch off brains and be enlightened about James left back, a fullback in attack for balance and Enzo box crasher.

I will not forget how good we were for most of 2017-2018. Top of the league at Christmas. And how an entire fanbase turned toxic against Antonio Conte after a few weeks despite making 70pts - which is higher than our current ppg pace. Or a fanbase that undermined Lampard making 67pts.

140 4

My eye test (you can keep yours) suggest we were either fitter or players tried harder last season I think we are worse at breaking down low blocks, more open on the counter and have less control over games that are even more end to end (stems from the nonsense lineups to put money on the pitch)

120 2

Sébastien @sebc.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

We are on par for 65-70pts So that puts us in the Di Matteo / Lampard / Conte 2018 territory Crossing fingers that the league is trash to scam top four with a point tally that usually barely guarantees 5th place. Underlyings are a coat of paint, but the structure is shaky with no room to improve

110 1

Also, the change of tune beteeen "Caicedo Enzo Félix can't play together" and all of them starting today can only suggest one thing Someone was told to win more than 50% of the league games or pipe down and put the money on the pitch That's hardly a benchmark performance, Leicester was *bad*.

Sébastien @sebc.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

Leicester are worryingly bad, with some horrific pieces of individual decision making whithin that. They could still carve through Chelsea on will, which doesn't really align with the fallacy of "control" described everywhere. What is control if your midfielders are constantly chasing shadows

120 2

Sébastien @sebc.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

I think that's the chaos part that everyone assumed was due to Poch's incompetence. Most people foresaw a drop in penalties this season If you have the best team, doesn't matter if everyone knows your game model. If you're not, embrace chaos. Not whatever we see which is neither control nor chaotic.
