If you need it. It does get easier, it just takes time and figuring out what to do next can take time too. Just take things one day at a time and lean on those around you if you need. I don't know the context around this, but I wish you all the best.

the ball shrinks and you feel the pain less and less. The ball may never go away and you might still feel that pain, but it will be less intense and less frequent and you'll be more equipped to deal with it. Keep in mind, everyone deals with it differently, but make sure to reach out for support...

Dealing with death & grief is really tough. It's not really a straight line to feeling okay. The best way I've seen it described is imagine yourself as a box and grief as a ball inside the box. At first, the ball is big and every time it touches a side, you feel that pain. But as time goes on...
