Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 08/09/2026@florianrappl.bsky.social sorry, I think my agent is about to create many issues on your repos, but these are supposed to be curated with concrete reasons to fix there. If it makes you mad let me know and I'll clean it up. It was accumulating the work locally until now, so I could decide what to do. 110
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 07/09/2026The feedz.io package repository is the best one I have used so far. Super fast, ample free usage, intuitive UI. A pushed package appears and is available in seconds.feedz.iofeedz.io — Private package hostingHost private NuGet, npm, and Chocolatey packages with generous storage limits and no per-seat pricing. Simple, flat-rate plans. 141
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 03/09/2026Shoutout to @florianrappl.bsky.social, maintainer of AngleSharp.*. Watched a few issues getting quick feedback and then PRs getting merged swiftly. Love to see projects and maintainers you can rely on like these. 240
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 02/09/2026I heard that people around here hate AI. No Jint 5.0 or Quartz.NET 4.0 for you then, your loss 😋 because it will be amazing🎆 030
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 01/09/2026Similar to Microsoft.DotNet.GenAPI.Task. We use that in Aspire. cc @rbn.bsky.social 030

Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 19/02/2026Like the old times I'll get to work in the same room as @blowdart.me . That will be a spicy room. 160
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 18/12/2025It only took 30 minutes and 2K lines of code (didn't write a single one) from concept to reality. It's awesome, AMA 100
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 18/12/2025I am about to write a C# serializer. It's not what you may think it is. It's a serializer that would serialize an object to "C#". Running the result would instantiate the object back. Awesome opportunities. 210
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 06/12/2025I have been using Opus 4.5 with copilot for a week now. I am in owe. It manages to solve issues in minutes that I would probably not be able to fix myself with any acceptable amount of time or help. I can't even imagine the impact it will have on our industry. And it's a ripple effect with software. 030

Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 03/11/2025PC was randomly crashing and felt hot on touch. I think I found the reason ... this is where the fan pushes the hot air through, or was trying to. 260

Reposted by Sebastien RosKirill Osenkov @kirillosenkov.com · 12/09/2025accepting AI PRs from Sebastien is such an insult. It's like Picasso sending me a Hallmark birthday card. 121
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 12/09/2025Challenge accepted. But note that the last PR I made to this project used AI and it got reverted because it broke something. I blame him though for not having tests covering this part, the changes looked good. Kirill doesn't want to talk to me now. 120
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 24/04/2025At the rate of spam calls I am receiving I should have all existing phone numbers blocked by next year. 000
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 12/03/2025This is a doc about "Response caching"... It doesn't mention output caching which your article is about. Here is the doc about output caching learn.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet...learn.microsoft.comOutput caching middleware in ASP.NET CoreLearn how to configure and use output caching middleware in ASP.NET Core. 100
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 11/03/2025Also, using the term "Response Caching" in this context is confusing because there is a different middleware with this name and "Output Caching" was created to improve on it. 100
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 11/03/2025I don't think `.Tag()` varies entries by the value. It just adds a tag to the entry to group them and later clear these. There is a method to vary by a header name, or a custom value though. 000
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 01/03/2025I have a cool demo for work but it's Friday and nobody's there anymore to see it, bummer ;) 100
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 26/02/2025Can you provide some filter examples you have issues creating? File an issue maybe to discuss. There are some custom Fluid types that might need to be added. Can even be done externally maybe. 100
Sebastien Ros @sebastienros.me · 08/02/2025It used to be in the US, now it's hardly one as the standard deduction is high and interest paid don't help as much. The mortgage rate I had was close to current high yield saving account, so in the end the same money was costing dividend taxes. Plus peace of mind and safe placement. 020
