⚠️ Promise.all() makes your code sensitive to destructuring order 🆕 Promise.allKeyed() is IMHO a better alternative in many cases I've been using my "combine-promise" lib for that, and can finally deprecate it soon

👀 React Native 0.87 looks like a big cleanup release Lots of deprecated APIs are being removed, JS + native This includes significant ones: InteractionManager, SafeAreaView... Also, more APIs are getting deprecated, scheduled to be removed later Clearly moving toward 1.0 👀

Don't underestimate the number of CVEs related to ReDos Many of them are actually annoying and make "npm audit" and security tooling quite useless Many times, a dependency is technically vulnerable to ReDoS, but since you provide safe inputs, you get annoying false positive flags

"proposed standard" kind of means it's already standardized, only a few move to the next stage in IETF process FYI HTTP2, SSH, QUIC, TLS 1.3, OAuth 2.0 are also at this stage, and yet widely adopted everywhere So no, it's not overhyped, it's officially here
