Many special need children live with sensorial hypersensitivity, even if not, forced touch is never ok and it’s not something that needs to be learned to accept, not coming from a pet, family or even uncomfortable fabrics. (Obviously the dog is not in the wrong here).

Sadly special need child are often target of abuse, including unwanted touch. Please don’t expose and force your child into accepting unwanted contact. Teach them the contrary, help them express and defend their boundaries.
