I don’t, to the point where maybe I was hallucinating the thing. I can still see the logo in my mind’s eye though. Sadly a German dub VHS poster of a film that was mostly banned through Germany and most of Europe is un-google-able even before AI ruined the conceptof an Internet search .

Over 30 years ago in my hometown video store I saw a poster for the German VHS release of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (released theatrically in Germany titled “Blood Judgement in Texas” at the time) that had the original title in German which comes out to “DAS TEXAS KETTENSÄGENMASSAKER”

Watching Batman the Animated Series with my kid and it’s insane how supercharged this show is. Its style is ageless, it’s consistently the best Batma and best American animation, it’s dark without being edgy, and the vinegar slash of Bruce Timm trademark horniness is subtle yet exquisite.
