A story in four parts

Leicy Santos, in the Washington Spirit black, winds up to shoot from a few yards outside of the box.

Spirit striker Gift Monday and Monterrey goalkeeper Paola Manrique lunge at a the ball sitting just inside the 6 yard box.

Gift Monday has won the ball, tapping it in from a yard out as Manrique looks on from the ground.

Trinity Rodman uses her hands to try an understand why the referee, in red, has disallowed the Gift Monday goal. The Monterrey keeper and defenders huddle a few yards way.

Trinity Rodman leaves the field in crutches. Hope it's not too bad and she can recover.

Hello Juno🐈‍⬛

Juno, my black cat, lays on the rug at the foot of our chaise – surrounded by toys, scratchers and her bed – looking at the camera. The chaise pokes into the foreground on the left, a water bottle pokes into the foreground on the right.

First #DCU game in the new digs. May the spirit of Foggy Bottom bring something resembling joy this season.

People love when big clubs lose but this result says a lot more about Fulham than it does about Chelsea.

I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out what I wanted my first real post here to be and I came up with this: I'm so excited about going to the Gotham vs Spirit game tomorrow with my camera that I want to post some of my favorite photos from the last few weeks.
