It's a shame when it feels like an artist puts less effort into a piece of art because they probably just wanna get it over with / didnt like the idea, etc. Wishing folks would be upfront with me. I would rather the artist work on things they wanna work on, than half-heartedly doing work for me

Honestly that is a better way to do it. Get like 5-20 people depending on how busy you want it, get like 3 of them to schedule stuff and be on the ball, then you get to decide how busy or not busy you wanna be. The only thing is that obviously you can't do suits in public like you can at a con.
