This whole media thing with Trump was because Xi didn't want American reporters in attendance and asking hard questions. So, to get him to travel to USA, Trump made it happen. He literally doesn't care what the Constitution says. The irony, of course, is visiting the National Archives.

Gov Beshear should exercise his right to call a special election to fill McConnell's Senate seat. This will force the Republicans to produce an awake and alert McConnell, who is capable of performing his Senate duties. The Republicans would have no qualms about doing this if shoe on the other foot.

One thing that I think the MSM is not picking up on is the joy and energy around the World Cup. It seems to be uniting the world. I am not a sports person, so not watching the games, but the reels of stories being told by visitors to the USA is really captivating me and making me proud to be USA.

The take away that I got from watching #MeetThePress was that Trump did not want to talk about Blanche. As soon as Welcker tried to question him about Blanche was when he went sideways about the 2020 election and the crooked media. When she tried to get back to Blanche, he walked out.

Why do I think this whole incident with the WHCD is a huge joke to show the "strength of the Trump Admin" with all the SS agents, National Guards, etc. It seems so fake and manufactured to me. And some poor schlep, like the "assassin" that shot his ear was the sacrificial victim.
