Mazel tov to the Red Lake Band of the Chippewa Nation for defeating yet another attack on Indigenous sovereignty and defending the Indian Child Welfare Act! Removing children from their communities is an act of genocide and every battle won to stop it is a victory that deserves celebration 🎉

1/13 What do you mean "family and relationship structure?" Aren't you just polyamorous? Well yes, but actually no! While many of us practice some form of nonmonogamy, and we work with groups like OPEN that are kickass advocacy groups for polyamory and ethical nonmonogamy, we cast a wider net.

SCFRE on KUOW two days in a row?? We're loving all this love! Thanks so much to Patricia Murphy for having us on this time - we loved hearing more of your talk with Anna Griffin from the New York Times, too! Listen to the interview: www.npr.org/podcasts/807... Sign our petition: tr.ee/uMgtPfxK3W

Black text on pink boxes reads "on relationship anarchy" and “relationship anarchy is about living your life in relationship with people in a way that doesn't follow a specific script. Various spectrums that say like what does this relationship look like and how do I show up for this person and what
does this look like.” -Jessa Davis

A hand shaking emoji sits at the top of the screen and rainbow, black, brown, and white hearts sit at the bottom.Image description:

Black text on pink boxes reads "on who will be protected" and “It is not just about polyamorous households, it is also about intergenerational households. It is about friends who have chosen to build lives together who are not necessarily romantically involved, but choose to form a chosen family. It is about siblings. It is about children. It is about caring for grandparents. It is about a single mom with her kid. It is about establishing protections for a much broader range of family structures.” -Anna Griffin

A emojis of an elderly woman, a baby, a family with one child and five adults, and a finger pointing at the reader appear at the four corners.Image description:

Black text on pink boxes reads "on living" and “[S]ome of this is about how expensive it is to live and how much of that has changed the ideal of what a household and a relationship and what a familial relationship looks like.” -Patricia Murphy and “When people allow their personal prejudices and their idea of what a family should look like deny people access to the material conditions they need to live that's ultimately what this is about.” -Jessa Davis
